Went to buy an elephant for a 25th anniversary. Lady was very helpful and cheery and even helped get a message painted on the elephant to persononalize it. Will definitely recommend and return!
This was a lovely, peaceful and relaxing morning …… in the store painting my own china elephant…..The lady in attendance was very patient and helpful dealing with customers, people browsing and then those who came in to shelter from the rain. And she was very encouraging about my artistic ability…. or rather lack of it!!!A lovely morning
We purchase one of the hand painted elephants as a souvenir from our trip. Lots to choose from and they allCome with a certificate of authenticity and are numbered. We visited several times before making our final choice. Not inexpensive, our 20 cm elephants was $3500 tbt. But, a really nice reminder of our time here. 20% of all sales goes to support elephant conservation so there is a feel good aspect to the purchase. For $1000tbt you can paint your own.
Painted elephants. Before visiting, I thought all painted elephants are similar. YetI found elephants here are different from any other. Not only they are more delicately made, but their eyes contain lively emotions. These emotions indicate the effort artists took in creating them and made those elephants so unique. I regretted that I did not arrange enough time to create my own elephant. Perhaps I will do so on my next visit
We always go to Elephant Parade House when we visit Chiang Mai, which seems to be every couple of years. We also make a special trip to the hospital at Lumphun to see how the injured elephants are faring. This time we had four year old twins in tow and spent a very happy morning at Elephant Parade House painting elephants and with quite a bit of help from skilled staff, came away with treasured moments..
I had no intention of buying any elephant artwork but after I walked by this store and poked my head in I could not resist. The elephants are all beautiful hand painted works of art and the artists painted them are right there in the shop. There is literally any conceivable artistic them from hello kitty elephants to beautiful color themes. And if you cannot find something you like you can paint your own. The fact that 20% of sales goes to support elephant conservation is all the more reason to pick up a few pieces
Elephant Parade House on Charoenraj Road, close to Ping River and pedestrian bridge, is full of beautifully painted elephants which make excellent gifts. On the expensive side, but they are exquisite and sales go to help endangered elephants. You can also pay and paint elephants yourself, with the help of staff. Staff are very friendly here.On display here you can see elephants painted by famous artists from around the world. There have been many displays throughout the world using Elephant Parade models – and many are placed around Chiang Mai city.Recommended.
Visiting the Elephant Parade House on Charoenraj Road was one more highlight on our travels to Chiang Mai. This fantastic initiative to support the endangered elephants in Asia,is very informative and funfilled and taught us how important the role of the Asian elephant is in their natural habitat. The stunning designs painted on the elephant sculptures are each unique and handmade. We even got to paint our own elephant! We are thanking Jeanette for her inspiring tour she gave us through the factory. Great ambassador for the Elephant Parade! it was a colourful experience

My daughter and I had a fantastic morning here. We both painted an elephant as a souvenir of our time in Chiang Mai. The lady who was working there was very helpful and didn’t rush us. We were there about 2.5 hours just painting. A great experience.
