  1. Unfortunately I have had the worst experience ever in Summit Golf Club for several reasons:1)we were two people in the flight. There were flight of 5 people before us. It is unbelievable that we couldn’t pass them. The game was so slow (4h45min for 14 holes and then I went home…).2)I was here with my wife. It is first time in my life that my wife is not allowed to watch few holes on a golf course.3)My wife had a massage. The women doesn’t speak English so she doesn’t allow (either understand) that my wife wanted to take sauna. She was told to go out after the massage.Sorry but I spent around 6000 bahts (180 EUR) and it is ok but the service and experience we got was really really bad.

  2. A regular group playing various courses around Bangkok landed at Summit Windmill last week fir a Birthday special game.9 players so 3 three balls, some in carts others walking, no problem. As we are mostly over 70 aers the oldies went off the brown tees.We all enjoyed the slightly shorter distances on a well prepared course. The shorter driving distance made for a very different approach to playing, most enjoyable. One palyer who had always said “the worst course in Bangkok” played really well, good score coming second in the mini competition now loves it!We were fortunate enough to meet a group of Iguanas building nests to laay eggs in one of the bunkers on back nine. Back to nature.Wew will be back.

  3. It is a minute’s walk from the hotel, so it is very comfortable and convenient for the hotel guests. We can enjoy a leisurely rounding because the interval is 8 minutes, one caddie and one cart for each. For Twilight and Night Golf on weekends, the waiting time can be a bit long due to delays. But there is no such delay in the Day Golf and it seems to be why the price for day golf is higher.Golf rounding (price per person in THB): Green Fee Weekday (Mon – Fri ): Day (06:00-14:00, 2000THB), Twilight (1500THB), Night (16:00-19:30, 1200THB)Weekend & Thai Public Holiday: Day (11:00-13:00, 3400THB), Twilight (1500THB), Night (17:30-18:30, 1200THB)Caddie Fee (400THB), Golf Cart (900THB)- Green Fee is a special fee for the hotel guests only.

  4. We had played this course a number of times in the pre-COVID days. it was always a pleasure and the course used to be in good condition. Total change now. Some greens were under maintenance (excusable) but others were in rather deplorable state, many bunkers were in disgusting state, with torn plastic sheets making the sight and play very challenging. fairways need to be maintained better as well. while one of the caddies was quite up to the task, the other spent most of the time on the mobile phone and several times sat in the cart while we were on the green putting and trying on our own to read the lines. For the princely price they are charging, definitely a course to avoid.

  5. The management are completely focused on profit and not customer service. Terrible experience that left me wishing I hadn’t bothered. I won’t be back as there are plenty of other courses to play in the area. The course is ok but not in the best of condition too. On a side note, there was a dreadful smell on the day I played that lingered all the way around the course, very unpleasant.

  6. We stayed at the Le Meridien close by so it was a short 100 metre walk to the large and impressive club house. After checking in and paying for the round I was met by my caddie, with a cart. While the first two balls met with a watery grave the rest of the day was immensely enjoyable. This is a true championship course from the back tees with water and bunkers everywhere. Truly a resort course and very busy. I recommend this one as a test of skill and endurance. The caddie is compulsory (tip required( and keeps you out of trouble.

  7. This Faldo-designed course has always been one of my favorite in Bangkok. It has a challenging layout, and most holes have a risk and reward approach. One can lay up or attack a pin over some hazards. It makes one think and strategize. It is also close to the airport and 2 hotels (Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi and Windmill Residence), which are within a 5 minutes walk (but the concierge will give you a ride).I had an opportunity to play this course last Thursday (Sept. 26th). We teed off early, knowing it would get busy. Unfortunately, the play was still pretty slow, with groups of 5 and a few single golfers. I thought the club could manage this better for a better customer experience. It had been raining practically every night in Bangkok for last couple of weeks, so we understand the fairways would be wet, but we didn’t expect 50% of the fairway soil for hole 1 was completely turned up. There are parts of the course in pretty bad shape. This may be the price for day and night golf. For us, the most non pleasant part of the experience was the caddy service. My partner and I played from different tees, and we had 2 carts and 2 caddies. My caddy would simply drive ahead before my partner had teed off her shot. Similarly, as soon as I had putted out, my caddy would be back in the cart working her phone. There was not much effort in locating lost balls. More sadly, they are not very diligent in filling divots on fairways or pitch marks on greens. Last of all, we were not even handed the caddy rating card.If you have time, there are plenty other great courses in Bangkok. If you have no choice, tee off before 7am. Check ahead on course condition before you book. As to the caddy piece, don’t harbor any expectation.

  8. 8 Golfers from Europe. We have played golf all over Ásia for 20 years but this has been by far our worst golfing experience.Night golf.Course itself is ok.Slow greens.Caddies who could not speak a single word of English so zero information during play.6 hour round!!Night golf but nothing to eat or drink after the round. We will never go back to Summit Windmill.
