We have been here a couple of times now and we’ve enjoyed it both times. There’s a band playing Thai music and the beers here are very reasonably priced, we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

This bar used to be one of my absolute favorites.I see some reviews include food. This is NOT correct. The bar Never served food, since it consisted of a small room (the bar), and 2 small toilets.Unfortunately this bar is now SOLD to other owners.The atmosphere is gone.
An excellent little Aussie sports themed bar (you can get a Bundy Rum here …), set among the ‘pub and grub’ precinct of Khon Kaen. Friendly staff (no hassle), ice cold beers and jukebox, playing some 70s retro music on the night I visited (see my YouTube), a good mix. You can order in food from a plethora of nearby restaurants and or just chill, here. I hope to return again soon.

Chillin Bar is a SPORTS BAR with 2 good sized TV sets where you can watch a great range of sports live. I watched the AFL Grand Final. NRL Grand Final and several test cricket matches there. The owner (Paul) is a very affable guy and the ladies who work there are friendly and efficient. Not a girlie bar. Drinks are reasonable prices. If you want food you can order from restaurants close by or from the burger truck which is on the corner nearby most weekends.
A farrang in Thai is a forienger. So a farrang bar is where you can meet and chat iwth other farrangs and their usually Thai wifes. What you need to be ideal is a happy and welcoming staff, tables laid out so you can easily chat to the people around you, and a great host. That’s the Chilling bar. If you need foof there is plenty nearby to choose from.

Went to the Chillin Bar for a couple of beers and watch an AFL game. Chillin is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and we had a great time. The owner (Paul) was very approachable and looked after us for the time we were there. If you’re in Khon Kaen, recommend you drop into Chillin for a couple of beers.
great bar in KK. Paul and his gf really friendly and helpful people and the staff are great too. We have our own bar but when we get the chance we go to Chillin as it’s a cool place!!
