What a wonderful place to eat, shop and socialise. The choice of food and drink is amazing and you never tire of Ton Tann.
Big market with lots of choices for local food as well as vendors selling affordable clothing, shoes, Knick knacks etc. I think the place would be better to visit much later at night as when we went there it was quiet , so try and go after 9pm maybe.
If you want an informal supper with a wide selection of almost any type of food coupled with lots to see at the same time then this is for you. Various set stalls serve their specialities. You pick and choose and take it to a table. If you don’t want to watch the soccer on massive TVs you can position yourself near a band or busker and enjoy. There is also an amphitheatre where performances and completions (I think) are taking place, and around all this many stalls selling clothes, shoes, novelties etc. Great for families, teenagers, mature couples, in fact anyone. It has a happy and friendly feel. Give it a try once and you will be back.
Parking can be a slight problem especially at night because it is usually crowded. It offers a wide range of foods and some queues are common. Alcohol is available. There are many small outlets offering clothes, gift and the usual market home made items. The crowd is part of the evening entertainment. Ideal for families.
It’s a very interesting & colourful place to be, with lots of eateries, shops. So many array of cheap stuffs to buy if you are interested, otherwise just basking in the fun atmosphere is worth your time there.
I love Ton Tann market one of my favorite places in this City. Food is amazing diverse and cheap. It’s a must for anyone who visits.
Great place to get a fantastic range of Thai food at cheap prices. Where the Thais go so is fresh and at decent prices. Numerous places have music or bands playing, saw a great group performing. If desperate can have KFC and do some shopping. My wife got a number of clothing items from 100 – 150 baht 5 – 7 AUD
I visited one night mainly to sit and have dinner. There are many food vendors to pick from. Plenty of tables and chairs around as well. Very popular place with the local people. Small clothing, bags, jewelery etc shops as well. If you are interested in visiting a market place in KK then this is probably the one.
This night market is huge. Lots of eateries and stalls selling clothes, accessories, etc. There is a live band at the eatery area.
In my observation, this has to be one of the largest hawker centers to be found in regional Thailand and I had an awesome time, during my first rodeo, here.In addition to the multitude of small vendors (suppling a plethora of local, plus foreign themed cuisine), there are permanent, more swanky style restaurants, plus a few fast-food joints, adjoining the main action. There are various sections to this eclectic market, including sound stages and big-screen sports viewing piazzas, plus casual shopping areas. For my visit, it was all about sustenance, so I settled into dinner n drinks.I wet for three (3) refreshing bottles of Chang (with some lovely table service), plus a delicious chicken karaage curry, with a fried egg on the side 😋A amazing time was had by yours truly and to be honest, I wish I had visited earlier. And so yes, of course, I will hope be back again, very soon …
