Mr Kenny used my measurements from a previous fitting and tailored me a blue blazer with gold buttons. Every instruction including choice of buttons was done via email. Jacket fits perfectly, not a thing like off-the-rack clothing which must be altered to “fit.” Go see Mr. Kenny and Madam Poona in person. Buy tailored clothing and then you can add to your wardrobe from afar.
Walked in off Sukhumvit street, ended up with suit coat/blazer, 5 pair of trousers, 5 shirts and a bunch of neck ties AND a lasting friendship with Kenny and Madame Poona. Everything fit great. My sister showed Kenny pictures of what she wanted in a coat and pants suit. Fit great. He listens to your needs. She also got 3 tops that are just gorgeous. Watch Out! Mr. Kenny is a low key smooth talking salesman and it is a joy to be around him and his wife.
I wanted to get a new suit while in Bangkok and wandered into Jass Fashions without any real expectations. It’s been around for over 30 years and within minutes of meeting Mr. Kenny and Ms. Poona you will understand why. They are fantastic! There are so many tailors in Bangkok that it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to go, but the service at Jass really sets it apart. The prices were very reasonable — significantly less expensive than I am used to back home — and the quality is great. My first order turned out so good that I ended up buying several more suits from them. If you are in Bangkok and think you may want to visit a tailor (I would recommend it even for the experience alone), go to Jass Fashions.
I visited Bangkok last year and made the mistake of asking an old friend who lives in Ekkamai in Bangkok who he recommended for a bespoke suit.Of the thousands of tailors in Bangkok, he had to recommend THIS one. Unsuspectingly, I ordered not one, but two suits. The material for one of the suits turned out to be a stretchable fabric (yes, I chose it, but did not notice the stretch, and I would have expected the owner if he knows a thing or two, to point it out). Anyway, long story short – the trousers were an inch shorter than they were supposed to be. The arms of both the suits were about an inch longer for one arm than the other! My fault – I noticed all this when I was back in my hotel. Since I had a flight to catch the next morning, I was never able to give it for correction. Later I learnt that Jass Fashions is well known for shoddy suits because they outsource the tailoring work to a training institute close by.I got them altered back in my home city. But the suits didn’t last long. One literally came away at the seams. Do not ever go to Jass Fashions. It’s a complete waste of your money.
Mr. Kenny and his wife were recommended to my wife and I by other family who had been to their shop in the past. I was in the market for a linen jacket, shirts and pants. My wife for an evening gown for a wedding we are attending this summer, some fitted linen blouses, a casual dress, two pairs of palazzo pants. We arrived at the shop Friday evening. I was fitted by the next day and had everything in my hands by Sunday. My wife was fitted and had much of her goodies before we left with the balance in the mail shortly after we left. Excellent service and quality. Highly recommended!
Cheap material, different from the one I chose. Owners are nice but they are more traditional. Can’t seem to get the millennial cutting right.
Just by accident I happened to pop in this custom tailor shop. The shop had a good selection of different fabrics. The owners were nice and friendly and they knew what they were doing, and made me three well-suited dresses, in time they promised and in an acceptable price. If I ever return to Bangkok I definitely shall visit their shop again.
Recently, my partner and I visited Bangkok and literally stumbled into Jass Fashions by chance. But, after getting several pairs of shorts, some shirts and trousers made by Kenny and his team, we were so grateful that we had discovered this gem of a tailor in Bangkok. Kenny is so professional when taking measuerments and helping you to chose from his huge range of fabrics. His prices are also very competitive, sometimes cheaper than off the rack clothing in Bangkok Department stores. Add to this his charming personality and you have a winning mix. Kenny’s wife, Poona, is equally delightful and helpful.
After walking the streets of Bangkok for a while trying to find a tailor, I came across Jass Fashions. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They also were upfront with advice in respect of the different materials and the quality of each. They assisted me so well and even went out of their way to get my initials embroidered on the shirt and even threw in a silk tie which we matched with the suit.I am an attorney and this suit just works and makes me feel confident. I had one suit made and my only regret is that I didn’t have more made. The suit breathes well in the heat and is also nice amd comfortable dor longer days.The good thing is that they keep your measurements for 5 years so you can order more from anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this tailor if you in Bangkok. So grateful for finding this place.
I visit this shop for doing two Suites. The owner and his wife are really good and friendly people. The Suites match perfect! I will always come back to do it here. Also the price its really good. Thanks Kenny
