Me and my friends went there to do beginners climbing, we were with Zach and from the beginning he were the most unfriendly, disrespectful, apathetic, and Irresponsible person! He didn’t really care about us, even when we got cut and needed first aid he brought us to some store for us to buy! He didn’t tell the whole truth about things and in general he didn’t seems so interested about us! Irresponsible company
I rented equipment a few times and took a half day course to remember everything I forget about climbing. The staff was really nice and the price was good. I enjoy my climb and all the advices they give me. I definitely recommend this place.
We went out for a half day climb between Railay East and West, and it was really great. We had Zach, and he was perfect for us. He spoke awesome English, was calm and I felt very at ease with him. My girlfriend is a complete beginner while I have a little more climbing experience, and Zach catered the entire experience to be fun and challenging for both of us.
Most convenient location to Tonsai beach. I’ve been coming to Tonsai annually to climb for 5 years and always love going out to the walls with Yao. Im beginner/intermediate on the Tonsai scale. Safety goes without saying, they are very good at identifying your ability and pushing you just enough to help yourself get better. Yao’s patience with me let me improve so much in just a few days not to mention he’s just a really laid back cool dude. See you guys next year!

My friend and I just came back from two half days of climbing with Yao from The Rock Shop. We shopped around and they had the best deal at 800 baht for a half-day. The store staff were friendly and signed us up in no time. Although my friend and I have climbed before, we registered as beginners so Yao took us through the basics and had us on the rock in no time. He was very patient and attentive and knew exactly where we needed to place our feet and hands to achieve the routes. We felt safe at all times, helmets were available if we wanted them. The timing was pretty relaxed, we got as many routes completed as we were comfortable with each day. The routes were excellent. Yao got us pushing our limits and helped us through everything we tried. We also had Heidi helping us out with belaying on both days so we could climb more, she was great and gave loads of encouragement. I would definitely climb with this shop again.
It was really fun, we had much time for climbing even though I went for half a day. Good level and really good instructor that helped everyone when climbing.

I had a great time with Zachary and friends rock climbing in Railay. We had a thorough instruction and then quickly got into our climbs. I felt like we made progress during the morning session and I hope to continue climbing so I can come back and do tougher tracks.
