  1. Beautiful venue but so far away from Bangkok. It does justice to the videos on Instagram but the food was really not worth the 45 min ride from Bangkok. Also, they don’t take credit card. Ended up being in a complicated situation. The staff was unhelpful even when presented solutions. When we gave gave them euros to show our good faith, they wanted to bargain the change rate when it was way over what we needed to pay. And we were not the only ones in the situation. A poor couple from Australia had the same issue. Weird in 2024 that a venue like that does not take credit cards. So inconvenient for the customers. In conclusion, it was nice visually but I will not come back. And not recommend. The only not-so-pleasant situation during our 2 week trip in this beautiful country.

  2. ? Open daily: 1000 – 2100? Reservations required (via LINE app or hotel concierge)? 300 THB deposit per person required to confirm reservation ? Check-in 15 min prior to reservation ? Late arrival = canceled reservation + no refunds ? CASH only Located an hour away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok is this Maldives-inspired cafe. Similar to the over water bungalows in the Maldives, guests walk along the elevated walkways across turquoise waters. There are 4 zones to choose from – building, swing, bridge and bar zone. The “building” features hammocks on the 2nd floor hanging directly over the water. The private villa/sheltered pavilion features a swing. The bridge has no umbrellas and is only open for dine-in after 1600.The bar zone is located away from the water and defeats the purpose of why we were there.Reservations are required. I downloaded the LINE app specifically for this reason, and although I reached out, I didn’t receive any response. Instead, I asked the hotel concierge to assist. To secure a reservation, a deposit of 300 THB per person is required. I’m still a little miffed that the cafe responded to the hotel via LINE, but never responded to me.The check-in process went smoothly and we were given a ticket. However, not long after we sat down to wait, hordes of other tourists arrived. When the cafe opened, they rushed to sit at the private villas. The staff wasn’t very helpful with directing us to our respective villa, and just pointed in a general direction. I had to flag down another staff member who finally pointed out our reserved villa. The other tourists that occupied our villa realized they were in our space and left without a word. Menu prices a bit expensive for Thailand standards and there are added fees – 7% VAT and 10% service charge. Service was SLOW! I saw others in the building being served drinks and we didn’t even receive a menu! I flagged down a staff member to request a menu AND to order. D*mm!The dishes were tasty and better than expected.

  3. Looks like Maldives so great for photos to show off to in IG. The food was surprisingly good and not expensive. No entrance fee.The only downside is getting there so we booked a taxi for a moderate fee.

  4. This is a great place to go and take pictures. It tends to be pretty busy I would say get there during the day and make a reservation if you can. We don’t have to wait long at all and got a good table. We mostly had drinks and smoothies. The aesthetic is great for great picture moments.

  5. Perfect for a getaway from hustle and bustle of the city. The unconventional design and immersive environment would create a dining experience

  6. Bubble in the Forest is extremely insta-worthy for sure with a decent menu to match and great food presentation. However, with its popularity, I think the management here needs to step up on service quality consistency and cleanliness. Right from the entrance, we didn’t feel very welcome. After choosing where we wanted to be seated from the broad categories (e.g. pavilion, building etc), we were somewhat left to our own devices to find our exact spot. As we were in between meals, we only ordered drinks and a Shrimp & Fruit Salad Bowl. This was when the next service lapse occurred. While our drinks arrived within reasonable turnaround time, our salad bowl took a really long time. We checked with the waiter a few times and finally complained when the guests who had arrived after us had a full table of food and our salad bowl was still missing! We finally got our salad bowl in the end but the ridiculous long wait for such a simple dish had already dampened the experience and we couldn’t really enjoy our food. While waiting, we had plenty of time to observe and we noticed tables took a long time to be cleared (which invited flies) and the cleaning wasn’t thorough as well. Having just recently emerged from the pandemic of our era, I had hoped F&B operators would be more aware and conscientious in maintaining hygiene standards. Also, as the place is quite spread out with staff constantly on the move, it was hard to get the attention of staff. Perhaps they should install a system of call bell or something. Hope Bubble in the Forest levels up!Being quite out of the way, we’d coupled our visit here with Wat Sam Phran. Go check it out!

  7. It is about 60mins travel from Central Bangkok to this cafe by grab/bolt. Bolt fares are cheaper but most drivers will cancel the trip. So it’s better to get a grab. This cafe is definitely a popular one as many came just to take photos and videos. Have to make a reservation if you are picky over where you sit. If not just walk in will do. When I went in the early evening, many huts were empty. So try your luck. Food was definitely not something to be talked about. Only the view was. Pricey but it’s okay for a one time affair. Easy to get grab back. Bring a mosquito repellent and tripod stand as it might be handy.

  8. Built on water with various sitting areas , outdoor seating serving authentic Thai cuisine .Good quality food and drinks .Lot of picture taking opportunities.

  9. This place is a nightmare on Earth!! It’s the worst place you can visit. I made reservation for a specific time spot and it was such a mess. I waited in the line to be seated for more than half an hour although I’ve a reservation. People with and without reservations are mixed it’s a total mess. The host told us that some areas are full but apparently they weren’t full at all after we waited for so long. Nothing was moving. Instead of nice experience of a restaurant I’ve gone through a continuing nightmare. I waited in a dirty table for like half an hour and after half an hour they cleaned the table and gave me the menu. I had to pay 600tbh in advance without getting anything back. Totally lost of money and time.
