Very relaxing and peaceful environment. You can feed them fish and birds breads as well. The park is quite hot so prepare the umbrella or find the matt bring with you to lay down under trees and chill.
Very very quiet place. You can see a big Buddha Image in the center and meditating Monks around. Additionally many other statues and jungle atmosphere.
Very large park, enough parking lot for everyone. Big Buddha inside (a bit crowd during religion holiday)Fish feeding is the popular activity to do. (Use the normal bread to feed, the colorful one is dangerous for fish) you can buy a big bag of bread for fish here. (A little bit expensive from outside the park) prepare your own mat to sit and relax! (Also a mat to rent and buy inside)Recommend to come during afternoon and then you can have dinner at the famous restaurant name “Ban Nam Kieng Din” which is not to far away from here.
My family comes here often for afternoon walks. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy nature and be able to practice meditation. Although most people enjoy this place for biking, running, and picnicking. There is a great Buddha statue and many Buddhist housing and building complexes. This place is sacred to many so be respectful and show reverence at all times here. If you are not familiar with Thai customs watch others first, and make sure to take off your shoes before walking to the altar.
Only Buddhist country Thailand can make such a huge park with one of the tallest Buddha statue. You feel tangible grace and compassion in this Buddha statue though standing really tall. The Buddha statue area was surrounded by small beautiful Bondai pots and gardens well trimmed and pruned.

I went and visited the large Buddha. And then tried to visit the Visitor’s center. That was when things got very strange and weird. It was open for visitors but was abandoned. The buddhas inside were desecrated and the entire building had a very eerie feeling. There were stagnant fish ponds, lined up abandoned shoes, and just an overall strange vibe.
Went with friends..about 40 min from Bangkok..day was hot but then started raining..so be prepared if u go there..beautiful landscaping n black standing Buddha idol is worth going..Asean corner is also interesting..I liked my visit there
The buddha statue is very beautiful and the bonsai plants surrounding are all remarkable. The grounds are kept very well and it is very beautiful. The most remarkable building is the Temple of Marble Pali Canon (Tripitaka). The paintings in every room and the 1418 marble pieces with Buddha’s teachings engraved are breaktaking. Really highly recommended for everyone’s visit there.
