This Enduro/motocross trips are far to none one of the best riding experiences u will get on any holiday, me being a motocross rider for 10 years did some day Enduro tours in and around Phuket mountain and can also use some motocross tracks, bikes are top spec also and looked and prepped to high standard,If u are in and around Phuket u need to give this a go for a day’s experience u willtake home and will be buzzing for days RegardsPhil
One of the best days out ever top gear and top bikes no service or gear problems through out the day which is very rare some places that tourists will never get to see and a great group of guys to ride with started the dah thinking it was expensive but by the end was worth every baht can’t wait to go again thanks guys
such a cool experience, I was almost completely novice with off road riding when we started the day and we went at a pace that I was comfortable with for the whole day and on tracks that weren’t too easy but weren’t too hard as well (there are much harder trails available too). The team there are really nice too and easy to get along with. would highly recommend if you are looking to do some enduro riding in phuket!
I did the jungle adventure yesterday. It was the best day on a bike ever. I was riding a2017 KTM 350, very nice bike! Until yesterday I only had limited offroad experience. After some test laps on their own track we took it to the jungle. This was awesome. Going really fast on wonderful tracks around the island. I was able to go as fast as I wanted. This was realy nice and a big difference to other tours where you are forced to drive slowly behind a guide. So all together I can strongly recommend this trip to everyone who wants to ride enduro in Phuket.
I have ridden and raced enduro for a number of years, and as I’m staying in Phuket for a while I heard about these guys and decided to try them out to see what the trails here are like, and also to give my girlfriend a chance to try enduro. The bikes were in very good condition, as was the quality of the kit provided. The guides knew the area well, and were patient with my girlfriend while I often rode off ahead 🙂 They also stopped at times to let me do some more difficult trails while they waited for me. If you want to try enduro for the first time, or are experienced and want to see some of the riding available in Phuket, go straight to Phuket Extreme Enduro. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best and may end up cheaper as they don’t charge you for every scratch you put on the bike.
Wanted to do something different in Phuket, instead of normal tourist tours. So I did some Googling and found Phuket extreme enduro. Contacted Ian and he managed to set up the trip on VERY short notice. We took about 5-6 hour trip around the jungle and mountains, enjoyed every minute. The safety gear was great, and the bikes were top tier. How this trip differs from others, it might not be the cheapest but I bet it’s the Best enduro experience you get here in Phuket. As they say on their site, there really arent any restrictions. Experienced drivers can go full throttle all the way, and if you are beginner, you’ll go as slow as you need. Would recommend to everyone, you will love it!
I took the jungle tour as a single rider with the instructor (B-Boy) who is actually the owner of Extreme Enduro who himself is a MX competitor. The set up is incredibly professional, all the top gear and the bikes were excellent. I ride a KTM SX 250 at home in the UK and if you know your bikes, bike maintenance is fundamental. Pleased to say Extreme Enduro maintain their bikes to the highest standard!!! B-Boy is a MX competitor and his set up shows his passion for good quality bikes and equipment. I rode a 2017 KTM 450 EXCF which had the ohlins suspension no less. B-Boy (the owner and instructor) set this up perfectly for me for my weight. The bike was super smooth and ate the trails with ease! We also swapped bikes during the ride and I tried his 2017 Husky FE 450 which was cool. I’m a KTM man.. The tour took us from his base whereby there is a small practice mx track (used by the ATV’s and some bikes), just to check that I was ok for the ride. The ride took us up through the jungle, farm tracks, small road sections, up to Big Buddha for the photo, across some baron land! The ride was a BUCKET LIST item and so glad I booked through Extreme Enduro. The ride also included lunch and a few pit stops along the route for a cold water, needed as it’s very hot! We also took camelbacks which were provided – again, all the right equipment and super professional set up. As for the price, well it’s not cheap. However, I read a recent trip advisor review stating this. In hindsight, I would have actually paid double what I paid as the experience was completely top notch, bikes and equipment amazing, and the instructor (B-Boy) was brilliant. Speaking with B-Boy, even in small groups, they allow one instructor per rider which again is top notch. Highly recommend anyone seeking a thrill seek Enduro to book through Extreme Enduro!!!! I’d also highly recommend the ohlins set up!!
A group of 4 of us came to do a full day enduro riding. 2 of us had never really ridden geared bikes at all and 2 were more experienced. You meet “B boy” the Filipino guide at the patong servo. He is a competitor himself and seems quite passionate about the sport. Then you follow him up to the patong atv track. You will be given all safety gear which was all in relatively good condition. Also a mini backpack with 2L drinking water setup with a long tube. Then we were taken to choose our bikes. You are then sent to do some laps around the track which is on the property. This is great to familerise yourself with the bike. The track is pretty much perfect difficulty and I found myself (accidently) getting some good air on the first lap. After this you head further up Patong hills tracks. We got to a point where he sent the experienced guys down a harder track and the others an easier way. This track was the funnest of the day. Very gnarly descent. You seem to get an option of proceeding to either Thalang or big Buddha. We ended up going through the jungle to Thalang. The newbies were coming off the bikes a bit but were never left behind.I have spent a lot of time in Phuket over the years so I find there isn’t much that I havn’t seen. For me the coolest part was seeing these tracks and stuff in the jungle that I have never seen before. A whole new side to Phuket for me.The day we went was hot as hell even by Phuket standards. You want to make sure you keep hydrated and bring really light clothing if you are going to wear stuff under the gear you get. I drank 4 litres of water during the day and it didn’t come out which is very odd.During the day there were a couple of issues with the bikes largely because of them being dropped. The good thing is that they don’t charge you for every little scratch but if something needs to be fixed you help them out. One of our guys paid 1000 baht for a radiator or something which is very reasonable. The bike issues left B-boy without a bike so he let us go on ahead with one of his regular riders who took us to some epic little track in Thalang. So the day was interrupted only minimally. On the way back we picked up B-boy (from mechanics) again and headed back to Patong. We were given the option of going back through the jungle or the beach way past Karon etc. Most of us were pretty tired so opted for the road way.I would have liked to have had the option to go ahead a bit on the way back and get into the higher gears but we remained tight and rode back as a group. All in all it was a good day. A couple of friends went a few weeks before us and were very happy with it. Everyone in our group was happy with some wanting to go back and do it again.I also enjoyed it a lot and would love to go back and do it again but I just can’t afford the 8900b.I would recommend this tour and as tips I would say drink water. Leave as early as possible because it is less hot and you will get maximum value out of your day as B-boy basically lets you go as long as you want it seems. Also don’t pay too much attention to the prices on the website.A free lunch is included during the day.
This was the most fun thing I can remember having done in a decade. A real adventure. I went with my brother in law. We both rode as kids but had forgotten everything except the basic functions of the bike. We arrived to find the owner, Ian, and a few Thai guys waiting for us. He gave us our clothes and gear, which surprisingly smelled and felt just fine. He led us to the bikes, which were in great shape and ridiculously powerful, and let us do as much practicing on the track as we wanted, we took about 30 minutes, then spent another 4 hours riding through jungle trails and mountain roads. We were crashing and dropping the bikes, getting stuck and having the guides help us. We were slow and clumsy and totally amateur but the guides were patient and adjusted the route to fit our needs. It was awesome.
Unbelievable Simply UNBELIEVABLE Best experience you can do here in PhuketGood motorbikes And our guide was amazing Highly Highly recommended
