Well maintained and relatively exclusive. Difficult to get on unless you play with a Member. Good condition and tough from the professional tees. Nice design and layout. Good clubhouse. Friendly and knowledgeable caddies.
A very good golf course in superb condition. The 17 is very special, and you need to take a boat out to the floating green to put! The general service very good, and caddies where good as well. You need to play with a member or by invitation to play Amata Spring.
I never played on this golf course, but I go to their restaurant. They have a good Italian restaurant though a bit expensive and an awesome unlimited buffet (excellent sushis, sashimis, desserts). Their buffet menu varies slightly all the time. Do try it! The view on the golf is great!
This is a private country club (with many Japanese members from the industrial developments in the region), but if you can convince a member to invite you, the experience will be well worth the very steep green fee. Everything about the course is first class, from reception to checkout. The clubhouse is outstanding, the caddies are experiences and competent, and the course is in outstanding condition. While it is exclusive, it does host profession golf tour events, including the European PGA. The fairways are fairly generous, but the numerous who sand bunkers are cleverly placed to grab slightly errant shots. The 17th hole is on an island that looks tiny from the tee, but once all golfers have gotten a ball on dry land, a boat takes everyone out to polish off the birdies (in the best case). The restaurant is outstanding, with an extensive (and expensive) menu. Not a course to play frequently, but a wonderful experience.
The best golf course I’ve ever played, seriously unbelievable. A must play of you get an opportunity! Also the lunch that followed was truly amazing!
Have played at this very exclusive and strictly members’ only private golf club. Great lay-out and superb greens! Only grouse is slow-play by some guests who played off the blue despite not physically fit to handle it
Just a quick trip to look at the place and meet the management for business. So glad I went ! Felt my stress levels drop immediately on arrival. Friendly staff, great relaxing environment and excellent facilities.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for given us a wonderful stay as well as our delicious dinner, special thanks to Khun Poo and Khun Pa for taking us a good care during our stay we fully happy and very much enjoyed and definitely we love to come back soon
if you ever get the chance to play this course its a must it must be one of the best courses in asia the golf superintendant must be congratulated on a five star course and with the further development happening could only get better if possible also food is to die for
AMATA SPRINGSTourism Authourity Thailand (TAT) in Singaopre has just resumed their annual promotion of golf forSingaoreans with a 3N/4D program in Bangkok. The program covered 3 days social golf in the following 3 exclusive golf clubs:1. Alpine Golf Club2. Amata Springs3. Siam Country ClubThe TAT program attracted 144 participants from Singapore. My group G4Fun had the largest contingent of 32. I found Amata Springs as the best. This course is the most friendly one. The design is good for social and professional golfers. The fairways are wide with enough water and bunkers to make for a good challenge. The signature hole has to be hole no 17. The Par 3 green is surrounded by water and you need to take a boat to finish this hole. The toilets and amenities are good. Apparently the caddies are in short supply as our group found a few new inexperienced ones. All in all, still a good day at Amatar.
