We played this course during our stay in Bangkok. Nice layout, although not very diversified. Well maintained, good greens and very nice caddies. Very good option to Play some golf in Bangkok
Based on the excellent ratings I played a round at Thai Country Club. The club house is top notch, the staff are friendly and efficient and the whole check-in process was smooth. However, for the price of 5‘900 THB (without buggy) expectations must be high. The golf course is quite flat, and hazards do hardly come into play. The layout is far from spectacular if not a little boaring. Greens are not very difficult to play neither. Course is very well maintained and caddies are nice and friendly. Generally rather disappointing experience given the price paid. There are better courses in the area for just a fraction of the price.

The only golf course I have played around Bangkok, picked this as the reviews and price for a one day treat suggested it would be very good. The course is enjoyable, though not too challenging (playing from the markers for mid handicappers). It is well maintained and with friendly and helpful caddies. Golfasian arranged my transport, tee time and a golf set which was all delivered professionally. Given the price (which might be pitched for numerous Japanese golfers) would likely try a different course if did this again when in Bangkok.
Whilst I do think TCC remains one of the premium courses in Bangkok it could be better. Drive up experience is superb and the bag attendants always very welcoming. Pro shop and changing facilities very good. Getting onto the fairways, greens are true and in dependable condition. This all said there’s a lot of ‘slower players’ who take forever on the greens – it’s frustrating as the Japanese and Koreans don’t acknowledge this nor are they accommodating to allow faster groups behind them play through. The marshaling could be significantly improved but the marshalls appear hesitant to any conflict or taking the slower players to hand – this isn’t a new thing by the way, been going on for years.
The Staff always remember your name and are very friendly & professional. Having played here for 20 years the course is in prime condition. I highly recommend enjoying lunch or dinner after your round…
This golf club gave us the best service I have ever had in Thailand from the minute we pulled up at the bag drop the service in the shop and dinning room was just fantastic. The course was in very good condition and was okay as far as layout goes, and our caddies were excellent and after games drinks and meals were world class.Will go back again.
Thai Country Club surpassed all expections from the get go .The bag boy , the recept staff , the locker room crew , the caddies , and the f n b helpers were all friendly and helpful.The golf course is steep in history and has hosted many high profile events and attracted many top pro golfers . Conditions of the golf course are great and course layout though lacking in some elevation changes and views , is very playable for all golfers . My wife is a 36 handicapper and she enjoyed every hole .Do visit Thai Country Club for your golfing needs and be amazed by the atmosphere!

I’m an avid golfer (play 2-3 times every week), and I was looking forward to golfing in Thailand. My teenage daughter accompanied me on the trip. I tried booking at the Thai Country Club but they weee NOT accommodating at all. First they gave me a difficulty booking as a single. Then they wouldn’t allow my daughter on the course at all – even after I offered to pay the green fee, separate cart and caddie for her even though she wasn’t golfing. The director if sakes recommended that my daughter could hang out at the restaurant for the 4-5 hours that I would be golfing. When I mentioned that thus idea wasn’t reasonable or safe, the sales director closed down. It doesn’t matter if you’re in California or Florida or Thailand – the arrogance of country clubs always comes out. If you want an enjoyable day of golfing as a single golfer or with a guest or family member do NOT go to Thai Coyntry Club.
