KRIS TRAVEL is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Thepkasattree, 83000, Thailand
Fantastic evening for my two teens, amazing street food, tasty, fresh and lots of variety. Affordable shops and stalls with wide variety of clothes, trinkets, crafts, some rip off shoes and sunglasses at the town square end. Lots of live music and beautiful old buildings, really enjoyed this night and if you’re there on a Sunday think it’s a must. Warning it does get crowded although we thought this added to the friendly atmosphere.
It will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience if you can experience local street food in Phuket. Sometimes it may be scary and unbelievable for many at first, but I suggest you try it and enjoy it, you will definitely be satisfied.
I had a wonderful time with my tour guide A she is funny and she has good banter with her drive Ten. I would rank them a perfect 10.
The tour was great, and the assistance from the tour company was even better!We communicated through TripAdvisor with Mandy who replied very fast and helped organise our different pick-up and drop-off locations. On the day our guide was Tina and not only was she lovely but she had great suggestions on what else to do in Phuket and gave good insight to each part of the tour. She also helped make sure we made it to our pick-up safe and waited with us for our boat – thanks Tina!The cashew nut factory was a small stop but had amazing flavours of cashews to taste and buy if you want. We bought honey and Wasabi flavours.The Big Buddha was beautiful (as always) to visit where you can see amazing views, appreciate the culture, and also get blessed by a monk before leaving.The distillery was great for alcohol lovers. The tour itself was a bit short but interesting, and the alcohol tasting was strong for those not used to drinking it straight, so prepare yourself. 6 rums, 2 gins, and ending on a vodka! Interesting flavours though and worth the visit, even if I gave most of my tastings to my partner as he’s the better drinker! *sidenote: anyone travelling with a gluten allergy/intolerance/celiac – you cannot eat at the distillery so take some snacks.
Our guide, A, was incredible. So knowledgeable. Answered all our questions. She went out of her way. The extra little details made our day, and a museum stop at our request, was no problem. Driver too was a delight. Well worth the tour.We used Kris travel for our transport to the airport. Better price than the resort.
I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour with A. I was picked up at the agreed upon time. She then took me to see an amazing temple and get some appetizers. After that she walked me through the old town and we finished the night at the market. This tour was really tailored to me which I loved. She made amazing recommendations on food to try and she made sure to let me know what to stay away from. I would do this tour again in a heart beat. It is a must do if your coming to Phuket!
