I really enjoyed a few drinks at this place. I was staying at the hotel opposite (which is dry) so popped over the road for a drink. Great fun, the owner was super friendly and joking with everyone. Live football was on but not intrusive. Good laugh with locals and visitors alike.
We went to Cha’s as the hotel we were staying at (opposite) was dry. He has a prime spot and uses it to his advantage. It’s a small bar but he is super friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced! We ended up staying all night and met a lovely Dutch couple in the process. I would recommend dropping by if you are in the area
We had a few drinks here and the football (soccer) mad Cha made us very welcome. A really fun and quirky small bar with super chilled beers, only gripe (suggestion) is to chill the glasses too. Other than that well worth a visit and directly opposite the (bar less) Nouvo City Hotel.
Mr Cha is so hospitable, remembers your face and your drink type. Across the road from our hotel it was an easy and great place to go. Will definitely return. He also gave us a great recommendation for dinner
We visited after being drawn in by the bar’s football memorabilia. The owner is THE nicest guy we have met in Bangkok so far, super in to football, fitness and music. The beer’s are the coldest we’ve had in bangkok and the music is great fun. Directly opposite the Nouvo hotel (which has no bar) and definitely worth a drop in past.
Nuff said. The other reviewers are spot on. Go to this guy. Great music, great humor, great English, great job overall. Not touristy, but really just a heartwarming, grounded bar with a great owner. He deserves my money.
You can go to any random rooftop bar, get ripped off at Khaosan street or waste your money on Sukhumvit. Come to Cha’s, feel comfortable, listen to fat blues and get something your money worth. My favorite hang out in Bangkok. Trust me.
This place is awesome the owner is extremely welcoming and treats everyone with the most hospitality I’ve ever seen in Bangkok let alone more places in Thailand! Right across from a 7-11 and hotel so great location!!Cha is the best part, with his witty sense of humor and magic tricks to keep kids occupied it’s a must visit!!!!
We loved our experience here. Very cozy bar in a nice street and great music. The owner served us and was so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
Great bar, with a great atmosphere. The Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit again and have a nice few cold beers.
