Where to start, we booked the tour through our motel and got the name of the tour group afterwards so we could share it here. We were picked up on time, got on the boat and were asked straight away what we would like to drink .A great trip around the island with snorkelling on the reef before lunch at Koh Tan. Lunch was included though had a couple of Singhas to top it off. The guide who looked after us was Tan, if you speak English look for Thai guy with long hair, hat and a smile permanently on his face. He showed us all the sights and was never too far away. Beautiful tour, well worth the money, with some luck you might get Tan looking after you.
I’ve known Samui Evasion through my French travel agency as they were their local representative in Koh Samui. They sell different excursions that you can find in any other local travel agency shop but BHT500 to BHT1000 per person more expensive (Koh Phangan national park)!! Afterwards, when you realize that something is not going on well with it and you try to discuss same with them, they become aggressive and show very bad faith…This is definitely not what we could expect from a travel tours agency and this is why I advise you not to deal with them. I can already imagine what they will answer to my above poor experience with them “sorry for your bad experience, we try to do our best, next time you’ll enjoy… blablabla” there won’t be any next time as I don’t enjoy to be taken as a milky cow!To conclude with a positive note, the excursion was really nice but only thanks to the sight seeings so I warmly recommand you to book it (with another traveling agent obviously).
Just to inform all people to avoid to use this ‘not serious’ company and I expalin resaon why.We booked there a trip one day in advance in order to visit koh Tan (1200 Bath paid) and at the opposite from others travel agencies (as TK Tour or Mr Man), no pick up from hotel and we needed to go there:Thong Krut (20 mn mn from Lamai) by ourself…Appointment was for 9:45 but nobody came there (we were waiting until 10:15, then call the agency Samui Info to learn that trip was cancelled). They told us that they sent a fax to our hotel day before but it was not true.So please, avoid to use this very not convenient and mainly not serious company (we lost 1/2 days holidays because of us and guy in charge of surnamed :Papa……BRMr Regert JL
Our tour got off to a bad start as it was firstly postponed due to bad weather, with a new date set. When our day arrived, no one showed up at the appointed time, thank goodness for our very persistent and helpful hotel receptionist (Jo at Mercure Tana), who contacted the relative person at the tour company and ensured that we were picked up, be it 2 hours late. The tour consists of boat trip around the islands, with snorkelling off one of the many islands. The staff were not very helpful in assisting my wife out of the water after snorkelling and in fact a fellow tourist tried to assist her-the lack of assistance resulted in her having rope burns on the legs. We then went to a nearby island for a lovely lunch (included in the price) and spend time exploring the island. the lady that prepared the lunch has state of the art solar equipment, this on an island with a population of 25 (used to be over 400), the is a privately owned house fully secured and powered by solar panels. (think the security is for wild animals that probably roam around at night..- lucky person to own a slice of secluded paradise).this part of the tour was most enjoyable. the trip back very good, and recommend that you try sit in the front on the top deck where you can observe some flying fish from time to time as well as taste good fresh sea air.
We booked through our hotel for a day cruise around the Island of Ko Samui. Although there were some bad reviews our hotel-Nora Beach resort ensured us that it was a good company and a great tour so unfortunately we booked. This morning when we were meant to be picked up-no one turned up, our hotel called through to Samui Evasion who informed them that they have cancelled the tour-no notice and no phone call to let us know this!!Unfortunately today is our last day on the island, we were planning on seeing all the sights by boat and enjoying a nice relaxing day they have ruined our last day and there are no other companies to book with this late notice. This company is unprofessional, unreliable and I strongly recommend you not to book with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were 6 friends and spent a wonderful day with Papa and his friendly staff!! The weather was not as good as expected but still enjoyed most of the activities!Beautiful snorkeling, walk through the island, very nice lunch and lots of fun at the bar sharing and talking with the staff and others travellers! Our only regret: the day was not long enough!! We would have loved to stay longer and enjoyed even more the place and the friendly atmosphere!! Merci à toute l’équipe !!
Thomas from Samui Evasion welcomed us at the airport and all went smoothly from the minute we landed. He was very helpfull and gave us good advices. He explained us all the différents activities, and options to do. One of the best was the day at Koh Tan, a small island only 30 mins away from Koh Samui in boat which makes you feel you are in paradise! We had a great lunch prepared by ¨Papa¨ and his staff in the restaurant ¨au bout du monde¨.Well done, it was a lifetime experience.
We booked tour to Koh Tan and we made really good choice. Everything was perfect. The staff and especially the French man that travel all over the world made everything to make an unique trip. We see mangroove forest and ate very delicious lunch. We recommend it.
We were looking for a tour with snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful ocean. This did not disappoint. We took the green peace island tour for 2200B. We had a group of nine with seven adults and two children in one boat with an English-speaking guide Mr. boi. The other boats were French speakers as the owner Papa is French. Papa is a delightful host, like a French Santa Claus. His lunch on koh Tan was sumptuous. We were sorry to leave this idyllic spot.
We booked the ‘Green Peace Island’ boat trip to Koh Tan through our hotel. They picked us up at our hotel about 8.45 and we were home by about 4.30. The minibus takes you to the pier to board the longtail boat. Only takes about 15 mins by boat to reach the beautiful island of Koh Tan. We had a nice welcome at the restaurant ‘Au bout du monde’ and sat drinking juice and chatting. They split us into 2 groups- English and French speaking and the 2 boats set off at slightly different times so the group is nice & small. First stop was snorkelling at the coral reef just off the island- they have plenty of snorkel masks for everyone & a life jacket if needed. Then the boat took us to the lagoon on the other side of island for swimming in the clear water & drinks all round. Got off the boat for the walk through the mangrove back to the restaurant. The walk was about half an hour. Lovely lunch – plenty of food. Soft drinks included. Then we had about 1 1/2 hours relaxation time at the beach before the boat back to Koh Samui. Felt really looked after on the day out and the island is very beautiful.
