It seems as they lost some good workers, and replaced them with arrogant workers. Tried two, but quit long before the massage ended. That’s a shame to see a good place going bad.
Seriously. This is the place you want to go. I was a repeat customer for their reflexology and foot massage. I had a head, neck and shoulder massage that had me looking five years younger when I was done. It was that relaxing! The atmosphere is calm. Also, it has a nice, clean bathroom. We could usually just walk in; however, depending on how busy they are you might want to consider reservations. We didn’t have that issue. You can’t get this level of massage at this level of convenience for this price in the United States.
The shop is a bit off the main road so the area is nice and quiet. The women were very nice and communicative with us. We got a Thai massage and pedicures. The pedicures removed all our dead skin from our long days of hiking. Everything was very reasonably priced.
This is the best place fo for a relaxing massage. I came back many times here. The people is very kind and professional. Clean place, simple and in thai style. When you need to recharge your power and relax, this place is the best. I’ll come back and I suggest to visit and try a good Foot massage, oil massage or Thai traditional massage. Great!
I came here many timest with my family, and out of all the massage places that we went to in Chiang Mai this place was outstanding. It was professional, super clean, and especially freindly. The owner Fern is very caring, and always makes sure that she is on a high standard.I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel a real Thai Massage.
This was my first Thai massage, but I kind of knew what to expect. I choose this place as it was down the road from the hostel I was staying at (Hugnur Hostel). There are so many massage places in Chiang Mai that it is difficult to pick one. Tata (I am unsure of the spelling) invited me in and washed my feet before taking me upstairs to the massage area. I changed into the Thai pyjamas and he set to work. I had the hour Thai massage and it was a great experience being pulled, rocked and stretched. I would happily go back again.
Now, if there is one place in Chiang Mai where you can drink home grown green tea while a very capable lady is giving your toenails a special treatment, then this is the place to be! Nice soft music in the background, a soothing smell of flowers wedged between the towels in the rack and on the massage tables.I have known this wonderful lady for many years and hopefully for many years to come. I have rather difficult toenails to take care of and she’s the only one that I trust with them, because she is firm but gentle and never hurts me.Very important, those ten nails, especially when you do a lot of walking, like I do and I can’t really walk when my nails are in a bad state. So, whenever you are scared to let someone give you a proper pedicure, there’s no doubt that you will be able to find someone as gentle as Fern, the lady of the house. Occasionally, I treat myself to a well deserved oil treatment for the whole body, nearly so relaxing that I could just doze off… Traditional Thai massage is one of the best in town, so check this place out, I can assure you, you’ll only go back for more kindness for your body and mind.
You will want to come back everyday while in Chiang Mai, as my wife and I did on a recent visit. First you are struck by the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff…exceptionally clean, soft lighting and music, then the home grown tea, followed by a foot bath. My wife started the week with foot reflexology; me with traditional Thai/Lanna massage. We both agree that the quality is the best we’ve ever had. Later in the week we both had manicures and pedicures and many repeat massages. . Fern, the owner and her staff YoYo, Aoy, Fang and Gon are all high quality therapists and very engaging people. There are many massage shops in Chiang Mai, but in our opinion, you need look no further than Viang Ping.
We are so happy that Viang Ping is open again because it is our favorite massage place in Chiang Mai.
