Rock Valley Hot Spring & Fish Spa is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Thailand
Visiting this magical place was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand! The pictures you see on their website do not do it justice. (If you are a web designer, please help them out! 😉 Nestled in a gorgeous rainforest setting, overlooking the river, this place is sprawling with natural pools and stunning landscaping. Trees and flowers abound and the views are picturesque. There is a spa available for massage and mud treatments. The thermal pools are what really attracted me. Each pool is unique, and is scented with a different herb or flower. The signs describe the medicinal property of each, and the temperature of the water. You are able to roam around and try any pools you like and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I was staying nearby at the Floathouse, on the River Kwai, and had them bring me here by boat. After spending a beautiful few hours here, I just had the desk phone my hotel and ask them to send me a boat for return pick-up. Morning hours are the quietest, so most recommended. Afternoon the tour buses pull up and you’ll have lots more company. I absolutely loved this place!
We drove here ourselves it was difficult to find and the roads on the were very bad! Upon arrival we were greeted by unhelpful staff, who wanted over 4 times the price from what was advertised online. They also spoke no English. After a long wait and a lot of complaining we were able to speak with a manager over the phone. We were then able to clear things up and agreed on a reasonable price although still higher than onlineApart from this the springs were very enjoyable and relaxing and we ended up really enjoying it
Very nice and good for the health to try swim the in hot spring Staff are kind Area is simple but nature
I do recommend this facility to travellers who love onsen. Not only I experienced the relaxation in so many type of herbal and original onsen pools, I also like the costume to wear in bathing. The service was exceptionally good. There were shower facility, clothes changing facility with very helpful staff, and lockers.
Read a few reviews on this place and we decided to visit . Google mapped the site and off we went from Kanchanaburi, lol after a few wrong turns we finally found a dirt corrugated road that led to the spa. Even on arriving it still was unimpressive until we entered the reception area . What a great set up with about a dozen different heated pools at various temperatures and containing different herbs ect . There were 2-3 fish pools also . The whole spa overlooked the river Kwai and we observed many boats transferring customers from nearby resorts on the river. They offer a great massage service along with drinks . Please note that food is not available here and discourage any food being brought in. We spent about 4 hrs here and everyone agreed it was 4 hrs we’ll spent, totally relaxing , well managed with excellent, helpful staff.
good location by the river kwai, with natural hot spring and fish spa and many thai Herb pools. i like foot spa massage so relax.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here.We came by car which was not easy. Place is quiet nice with 15 pools. We tried them all some of them were quiet dirty. We tried mud mask which was fun. Cleanliness should be improved. Lots of chickens running around.ThxVlad & Mariska
At first I thought it looked a bit commercial but it was a lovely spa and very relaxing setting. There are several different spas and they will tell you how to use them and what order – hot to cold etc. I did a scrub which was very good and super relaxing but you can get facials, massage as well. Recommend if you are in the area and have the time.
15 pools including tea pools and a fish pool… that you can also lie out in. Massage available too. Loved it all!
Nice place, gave 4 stars as tried to charge for kids initially It’s not a place for kids but called here on passing by – they did enjoy it but more an adults place Not sure about all of the properties they claim to do from each pool etc but great concept
