An amazing cycle through the country side, I wish we had gone for longer!! The teenagers loved the buggy tour what a great experience, a must do when visiting Kanchanaburi. We will definitely do it again.
We had an AMAZING couple of days with CDR Adventure. Highly recommend them . Dave (the owner) is friendly, super-knowledgeable and has great equipment in great condition.We did the cycling tour the first day – and he even had a trailer bike so my husband could tow our 5 year old daughter! And then we did the bamboo rafting on the river.The next day we had arranged for a one-way canoe trip from our hotel near Hellfire Pass down to CDR (specially tailored trip just for us) but it chucked it down with rain so we cancelled. Dave was super flexible so we went Off Road Buggy riding instead – what a fun experience!! Check out the photos. We all went (including my daughter) and had sooo much fun driving in the muddy puddles and getting thoroughly soaked!!! Thanks Dave for such a fun few days! We’ll be back soon!
This is not a surprise to find more than 50 excellent comments. What else to add … it was an amazing time ! We were a couple with our 4 years old daughter and we took a kayak tour and a bath with elephants. Dave and team were focused on Safety, kind with young children and fun with older. An excellent way to discover more from Thailand nature. We particularly appreciated the bath with elephants and kayak in the wild river. Thank you so much Dave and team.
My family with 2 kids (Age 11 and 10) booked a biking and kayak trip with CDR today.Dave (the operator) and his team were great. Firstly, in ensuring safety came first starting from the pre ride brief. Subsequently during the bike ride, a “safety van” tagged along at the meeting points to make sure that everything went smoothly.The Bike experience took us to the back roads, villages, and farmlands which we wouldn’t have seen. The kayak part of the journey will also peaceful and enjoyable.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to try something different.
Dave organized a 3 day trip for our family with 2 children, a boy of almost 15 and a girl almost 12. First day he came to get us at our hotel in Bangkok. From there by passing Maeklong Railway market and the floating market Damnoen Saduak, we went to see the bridge over the river Kwai in Kanchanaburi. The second day we had activities we all found a very nice experience. We started a nice tour on VTT, saw the real nature in this beautiful country. We arrived on VTT at the elephant park. So nice playing with them, while bathing them! So well cared and so friendly! After having our meal in a nice decor we had our Bamboo rafting. Then we had a ride in the death Railway and a visit in the Death men’s cave. Third day we went to visit the Erawan Waterfalls. What a nice experience we had and very good and friendly organized!!!
We booked the bicycle and bamboo raft tour, guided by company owner Dave. We absolutely loved it!We got to see the beautiful countryside, the guide told us a lot of interesting details about the Thai people, the local area and other things we encountered. We even got to stop at a local school, where the children were thrilled to meet us foreigners!After the bicycle tour we got to enjoy a comfortable ride back to the starting point on a bamboo raft on the river Kwai Noi. The swimming around the raft provided a very welcome cool-down.5/5 would recommend.
Absolutely awesome ! My wife and I did the bugging driving rafting on a bamboo raft and then finished with kayaking. If anyone is staying in this area, there are many of those hotels on the river book something with CDR adventure, you won’t regret it. And the 2 guys that were with us were really cool, helpful polite and just all round good guys. The best morning I have had in long time . I think we will bring our kids back soon for them to have a go as well.
This experience was amazing! The service, the buggy, the staff… everything was perfect!! Highly recommended for everyone.
