  1. Just finished the class and it was fantastic. The people who run this business are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and all around great individuals. They pick you up at your hostel, take you to a local market to pick up fresh ingredients for your cooking. All the dishes we made are amazing, you will end up in a food coma after this day but it’s so worth it! This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand so far! If you want to learn some traditional Thai recipes this is the place to do it 🙂

  2. A friend and I went here for an afternoon class and had a great time. Wren and Arpaporn picked us up went thought what dishes we could choose to make and took us to the market. There they went through pretty much everything in the market even things we weren’t using in our dishes which was great! From there we went to the kitchen which was very clean and had a tour of the garden. We had some delicous tea and began cooking the best food I’ve had in thailand so far. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. I ever come back to Chiang mai I would book this class again. My only advice is come hungry because you will be making a lot of food that you will want to eat all off. Thank you so much for an amazing time and experience.

  3. We had an excellent afternoon at the Little Kitchen cookery school. The hosts/instructors were incredibly friendly and easy to get along with, and after a tour of a local market, we were taught how to make five Thai dishes, which we were able to take home as we were quite full by midway through! The setting was lovely, in an open kitchen with a beautiful garden out back (where they grow some of their own ingredients), and we had time between dishes to rest and drink water/chat. We left with a lovely cookbook each which we will certainly make good use of!

  4. Went to the little kitchen and it was awesome. It was very hands on and a nice setting. We cooked outside and were the only group there so it really was like a private class. They showed us the garden and we picked fresh ingredients that we used in our cooking. Recommend the stick rice as a dessert. It was sooooo good. All the food was great and the staff was super helpful, not to mention our chef Wren was fantastic. great experience.

  5. A friend and I chose a random cooking class brochure from a wall of them and got SO lucky that it was the Little Kitchen. Ning picked us up from our hostel and took us to a local market where we bought all the ingredients. At the cookery, the head chef taught us to make the best pad Thai I’ve ever had, along with tom yum soup, green curry, mango sticky rice and a papaya salad. Each one was fantastic. They also showed us around their garden, gave us diplomas, cook books and I purchased some flowers for brewing butterfly pea tea. We were there from 2-5:30 and paid only 1000 baht ($28). It was a great experience. Ning drove us back and showed us some nice bars and dining spots in our area. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

  6. I Had a lovely morning at The Little Kitchen Thai Cookery School. We were warmly greeted and offered a glass of (magic) tea. The place was very clean and and equipped to a high standard.Over the course of the morning we cooked 5 traditional dishes taking occasional breaks so we could sample what we had created, my favourite dish being the Pad Thai, something which I will definitely be making at home. All of the ingredients where freshly sourced from the garden of the cooking school, which really made a difference to the flavours we got from our meals. Do spend some time exploring the garden. The staff where the best part of the whole experience very warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable in traditional Thai Cooking. I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Chiang Mai.

  7. Ning met us the at our AirBnb the night prior to discuss the dishes we could cook the next morning. We chose 4 dishes including pad Thai, papaya salad, red curry and mango with sticky rice. Ning and her team very helpful and welcoming! Whether you like cooking or not, I would recommend this class to anyone, to learn about traditional Thai dishes and the fun experience that came with it. Thanks for the great food and experience The Little Kitchen!

  8. The school is about 20 minutes utside of Chiang Mai, DO NOT let that deter you from choosing this school! For starters the school is in acharming old style wooden house you are greeted warmly by your teacher with avery specila local iced tea. The class sies are small and you get one on one attention. The recipes are authentic, easy to follow and absolutely delicious. Nim is a class act and makes sure each student has an excellent ex[erience.

  9. My husband and I made arrangements to visit the Little Kitchen only a day in advance. I am vegetarian, my husband is a carnivore and they completely accommodated all our specific requests. We were picked up at our hotel, visited a market to buy ingredients, greeted with magic drinks and made 5 delicious dishes. The food was the best Thai I’ve ever had. We were sent home with a recipe book but I don’t think we can ever re-create the deliciousness. A must-do!!

  10. My group had an absolutely amazing experience with this Cooking School. We rented the place to have a cheese Making session – happy, friendly and full of positive vibes.
