I would rate this 10/10 if I could, Benny was a great instructor and all the instructors were really friendly. Good waves for beginners and I feel like a learnt a lot in 1.5 hours. Totally recommend.
My friend Veronique said it all but we had such a good time with Benny. He taught us some theory on the beach and then we spent quite a while in the water. We were only two so he was able to provide really helpful feeback! I would definitely recommend this surfing school to everyone.

We woke up bright and early for the morning waves and met up with Benny right out-front our hostel. We went to the beach and had the best experience, Benny was super knowledgeable and thought us a lot. 10/10 would recommend!
Fantastic day with Koho Surf! Benny is super helpful, informative, friendly and patient instructor. He certainly knows his stuffs and makes it fun, safe, for beginner like me. we had great communication via WhatsApp updates on weather, location and meeting times, and he picked me up 🙂 He is excellent teacher and Koho Surf has good quality equipment as well. Benny made me enjoy the surf for the first time and I don’t feel scares anymore. His mission to ensure I stood up and rode the waves in a fun way and feeling. Awesome teacher, very encouraging. Highly recommend.
I had a private session with Benny. Since I had already surfed before I often decided to ‘only’ take a board – however, I am glad I did not this time: Benny took all the time to explain to me the fundamentals of surfing, such as how to read waves, how to stand up correctly and how I can correct my own posture. He is a really great instructor as well as a super fun person, which made the lesson pretty much relaxed. All the equipment used is pretty new too, which is a plus. I can highly recommend anyone staying in Phuket to come around for some surfing ?
This was a really great experience. Benny is a great teacher and is very patient and supportive. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his subject and even explained how the waves are formed and how they act which helps once your go out on the water. Once you are able stand up while surfing a wave you will be hooked as it’s unlike anything other experience. The sense of achievement you gain is unreal. If you ever get the opportunity to learn to surf in life then you need to do it!!! Benny is the man to teach you. This experience was one I will never forget. Thank you Koho surf.
