Suanploo Thai Massage is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 1345 Charoenkrung Road, Silom , Thailand
Stumbled across this place from walking in the local area. Having noticed the Trip Advisor sticker in the window, my partner and I thought we would give it a try. When we walked in, there was another British National waiting for a treatment who was resident of Thailand. The chap told me that he had been going to this place for a while and that the massages were very good. This also gave some reassurance that we were in a half decent place. Both my partner and I have the Neck, Shoulders and Back for an hour which was 380THB. Once we confirmed what treatment we wanted, we were given ice cold water to drink and take to the upstairs treatment rooms. We changed into our Thai style pyjamas, then laid down to begin the session. It started with a feet wash and rub which apparently is normally in Thai culture. The hour passed so quickly, the massage was painfully enjoyable and well worth the time, cost and experience.All in all, the quality was really good and the staff were very professional and attentive. Once paid, we were given tea on departure which was a nice touch to finish the experience.One tip I was given by the British National in the shop was if it’s painful, “Jeb” in Thai means pain, sore or hurt so the staff know.Enjoy 🙂
Worst massage ever , no pressure and the masseuse was watching the clock the whole time. She was unprofessional.She started late ( i was with my husband so i could compare) and she finished before him . Worst thing is that i could feel she really dont care about me. Never again!!
My husband and I were disappointed the Labua hotel spa was not open until 11am, we were going to take a massage there before leaving Bangkok. I had noticed this place the day before and decided to try. It was a really positive experience for both of us from start to finish. The salon is clean as are the towels etc. We were given cold water to drink before the massage and hot tea afterwards. The masseuse found all the niggles we have and applied enough pressure to be able to feel it, especially when ‘ironing out’ those persistent knots! We both came away feeling relaxed and all for the price Bht650 for an aromatherapy massage.
After sustaining a broken ankle (now 10 weeks post-op), I was very hesitant about getting a Thai foot massage. But after a few days of lots of walking it was starting to hurt and decided it might just do the trick. The lady was wonderful. After explaining the situation, and asking for ‘soft touch’ around the painful area she worked her magic. She was so good, so careful, and gave an all round fantastic massage. Even managed to take the swelling down a bit! I’m sure there are a lot nicer places, but for only 300 baht (£7.50) we had an 40 minutes foot/leg massage followed by neck, back, shoulders, arms and head for the remaining 20 minutes. Would definitely go back

This was our first Thai massage. My husband , myself and my sister were walk-in customers. The staff were friendly and the massages were wonderful.
I do not recommend this massage salon. The massagist did not understand English which is totally fine but even with a translating program that turn the written into Thai writing she did not understand what which level of of intensity I wanted to have. Now the rest hurting back since three days. I am already thinking to visit a doctor.But hey, maybe I was just not lucky with my massagist.
The masseuses are very friendly. Most of them are very skilful. l feel incredibly relaxed. I will definitely recommend it.
