  1. We stayed in Bangkok for a couple of nights and the main reason was to try the best sky bars in town. Ok this is the highest outdoor bar in Bangkok but it’s not worth more than the double prices for extra 10 floors. The views are great but when you have to pay 2236 THB for two drinks you don’t enjoy this place. We went to Red sky, Avani+, Above eleven and Octave and all of them is much better than this place. And you pay less than half the price at all of them. But if you don’t care about money this is of course a great sky bar if you want amazing views.

  2. Loved State Tower! We went there for a drink and photos and it did not dissapoint. The view is amazing! Drinks are very expensive, but staff highly attentive and friendly. Be mindful though, state tower has a dress code, which we were not aware of, so one of us had to hire long trousers and closed shoes in one of the shops on ground floor, which spoilt the experience for him a bit.

  3. This is one of the landmark building in Silom area and I have seen this beautiful 64 floors skyscraper many times while roaming around in Silom area. I was staying at Novotel Bangkok Silom Road hotel and this giant building was visible from the window of my hotel room. Lebua is a reputed hotel located in this building and also there is the Sky bar located on the top floor where popular Hollywood movie Hangover 2 was shot.

  4. This building has bars and restaurants on upper floors. Partly in the open air.Although the locations are breathtaking and the service is excellent, the prices have gone from high to super high. One oyster costs € 12.50 and a Bacardi Cola € 26.00. Too bad it’s only accessible for the wee-to-do.

  5. Had to wait for a lift. Taken to a rival bar, not Sky bar. Had to get in lift again. I don’t drink alcohol and so a member of staff introduced me to a mixologist behind the bar. He made 2 very basic mock tails in glasses that were full of crushed ice, then had the audacity to charge us nearly £60 for them. Go for the night view but that’s it!

  6. Unfortunately a very poor experience for us this time !!We had a great memory and we were looking forward to be back at this amazing panoramic sky bar, but :You need to make sure where you going to be ; they put us first on the 54th floor and we said that we want to go to the sky bar at the Dome , moved to and other , and after to a champagne only place , bottle around 11000 bth, well….At the end, after moving 3 times from floor to floor , up and down, we arrive to the top one , very inspiring , in theory there is a dress code etc …, well that evening we got and a big group of bubble girls in a “hen party “ ….. very drunk and rude girls To be honest , there are better plan and less pretentious places with fair price places now in BKk without been up and down and been very assertive to get to the place were you want to be !!!

  7. We were completely “managed” by hostesses the minute we emerged from the elevator. We were first ushered into a very pink room and pressured to buy a bottle of champagne. When we insisted we were there only for cocktails, we were ushered into another outside bar that was decrepit. The cocktails were horrible and cost $30 USD each.

  8. My regular accommodation in Bangkok. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the BTS Saphan Taksin. 2 minutes walk to Robinson Department and Times Supermarket. Large room and large balcony with Jacuzzi. Full kitchen, washing machine and bathtub. You can use lebua at State Tower hotel facilities (except pool).

  9. I went for dinner here a couple of times in the past, on their magnificent roof terrace restaurant, but prices are now so exorbitant that we decided to skip it.
