10 thoughts on “Soi Buakhao Market

  1. It is The Market that is closest to all the action. For Food, I had some delicious Moo ping (grilled pork) and Isan-style sausage (Sai Krok Ee San) There are a lot of Vegetarian options too. For clothing, I picked up a pair of new izod cargo shorts for a few dollars CAD. and a nice short sleeve polo shirt for a great price. Some vendors sell every type of makeup for Women you can think of as well as open-air nail salons.

  2. Still the same problem as when I reviewed in 2019 – if there are no prices on the food do not buy. Foreign faces pay more. However on Sunday the second hand market is worth a look. You never know what you will find.

  3. Great spot for a bargain!Clothes, food, jewellery, all spread out over a large area and well worth a visit anybday of the week.

  4. You can visit this market on Tuesday and on Friday, be prepared to spend a few hours there, as ghere is lots to see, from jewelry, watches clothing, and food, over the road there is a flea market its massive and more food, the two places are buzzing. With people browsing the stalls tasting the food, getting beauty treatment,s the full hit. Don’t miss this one, oh go in the morning it’s cooler.

  5. the stall i went for was no longer there, police probable stopped his items, hence wont go to this market again, they also need some kind of cooling system for farangs

  6. The market is a little hard to find and is more aimed at locals but good for a visit. Lots of very cheap second hand clothes along with the pretty standard Thai market goods and heaps of food options. Traffic can be a bit crazy so beware

  7. The biggest market around. Tuesdays and Fridays. Has everything from pets to plants, jewelry, makeup, massage, clthes galore, food, underwear, household stuff. Well worth a visit. They set up at 5am and pack up and move on at 3pm.

  8. It’s been cleaned up. On the left side they’ve added some covering for when it’s raining and the stalls from 8-10 years ago selling counterfeit and interesting goods are no more. If you are in the area and need some new tee shirts, football shirts and some ideas for gifts then you will do no wrong. You can grab a cool drink and bites to eat whilst you walk around.

  9. Plenty of clothes to look at, lots of fresh produce, and men’s clothes as well, bought a pair of shoes, fitted ok still have them.

  10. Pattaya’s top market caters to both locals and tourists, offering a vibrant mix of products and experiences. You’ll find an extensive selection of goods, from brand new items to pre-owned treasures, ensuring you can shop for everything you need without having to visit multiple locations. The market comes alive with the tantalizing aromas of delicious street food, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy the authentic flavors of the region.
