I’ve been to Bangkok a few times and I used to have my old haunts, the places you make a part of your routine. Then I heard about Asia Herb Association and suddenly my life changed. This massage place is one of the best I’ve been to. It’s excellent value for money and in a great location. The venue itself feels warm yet private, exclusive to you and your partner, with a touch of intimacy. My partner went for his first Thai massage and said it was absolutely fantastic, that he left a new man. I opted for my usual aromatherapy massage and my goodness, I feel so relaxed every time. The masseurs listen to your body, take a survey of prior injuries and communicate (not too much!) just enough to help you get the most out of the experience. Finished off with some herbal tea to bring you back to reality, this place really replenishes the whole body. My only recommendation double check where you’re booking as there are several Asia Herb branches in the same area, so make sure you know the exact location.
Good, strong massage. Masseuse listens to what you want. Comfortable environment and shower. Will definitely go again.
I had an early flight to catch and this is the only spa could take me at 7am. Staff were very nice and professional. Overall, I enjoyed the massage.
Nearest BTS is Phrom Phong. Place seems to be run by Japanese. There’s a Asia Herbal Clinic if you’re walking from Phrom Phong (same brand but focuses on facial and beauty services) not to be confused. You may want to call for reservations and if you can’t get a slot there’s other branches along the street or nearby too. Check out the website.Massage was good. Did a 2hr Thai Massage and totally enjoyed it. Strength was firm. Served tea after that. Good alternative to Health land if you are not near one or they’re full. Paid 1,200baht for 2hrs massage.
This place happened to be just a two minute walk from our hotel on Sukhumvit soi 24. Good ambience and wonderful massage. You are received and then guided to a pad on which you have to select your treatment and indicate if you need specific treatments or if you have any ailments so they can take care. The rooms are very soothing and at 1300/- for 90 minutes it was all really worth it. Was very clean also. Finally they give you a good herbal tea.
I bought the vouchers and have used almost all of it. Had 500 baht left and it expired on August 21st. Today is August 23rd they would not accept it. Not a very flexible place. Even though I had spent 20000 baht on vouchers they did not care. Today our total expenditure was 1800 Thai baht for 2 persons foot and shoulder massage 90 mins each. We gave them 2000 Thai baht using some of the other vouchers that were not expired, we were not given any change. They just kept it. They would expect you to give 1500 in vouchers and 300 in cash. They only make 500 denominations and expects you to use cash. At the end of the day .. it’s not worth it .. the vouchers. We have learnt our lesson and would like others to know of this scam. In any case, the above is all management fault and had nothing to do with the hard working masseuse. They do an excellent job!
This review is for the Asian Herb Association massage shop on Sukhumvit. There is no listing for it on TA. But I suspect all branches are exactly the same.This was a huge disappointment. At the beginning I felt ok, but then things got bad. The first issue is there are no beds. You lay on the floor. I have been getting massages once a week for over 20 years. I consider myself an expert already as I use the techniques from multiple therapists at home on my family and myself. The one thing I can tell you is that using towels on the floor bed are not very good for the neck.I did not feel too bad afterwards, but I have neck issues and was greatly worried.The biggest issue was firstly the therapist, and if the massage shop figures out who I am and you take money away from her because I am complaining on a public forum, shame on you! The therapist did listen somewhat as I told the staff and her that I wanted a hard massage. Well… the therapist basically mumbled that if you want a hard massage choose a Traditional Thai massage. Well, I cannot. I have a disk herniation and that is how it started, with a traditional Thai massage, so please do not tell me what kind of massage I need, I know my body and I know what I need and what I do not need.By far the worst thing here is the staff’s attitude. After the massage I tried to convey to the staff that they need beds, and some other things, all the lady did was nod her head and say yes yes yes like she didn’t care one bit, you know the attitude I am talking about, like yeah, we customers have no idea what we are talking about and the staff is not going to listen to one word of our complaint. This is just very poor taste and poor service. I was shocked that this happened at this place, as many people talk it up. And it was recommended to me from a Thai person. The staff are overly arrogant and rude. I will never return because of that. You can go if you want, I am not telling you not to, but you need to consider your options to be honest.Also the price is higher, and for that kind of attitude, it is not worth it to me.
Awesome authentic Thai massage! Finally got a chance to revisit my favorite massage place in Bkk. Still as good as it was few years back. Standard is maintained. Good hygiene. Very relaxing indeed. I came outta the massage feeling very refreshed.
Got the Asia perfect for body treatment. We read the reviews and thought this place would be good, we were wrong. The treatment cost THB2920 which is not particularly cheap, but the 2 therapist was quite unprofessional. They did not give any effort into the massage and was just going through the motions. The place was relatively clean though. Will not go again.
Been using Asia Herb for many years and the service is always top notch, We always go for the 3 hour, scrub, oil and massage. So very relaxing. We always fall asleep, service is professional, premises are clean and quiet. Everything is thought of. Every visit to Bangkok we always head here straight away. Total relaxing.
