We booked our”Damnoen Suduak Floating Market” Tour via a travel agent in our hotel and we are very lucky that they connected us with Mr. Chanin, our tour guide.Mr. Chanin is a professional tour guide, graduated in this sector. So he can provide you a lot of background information related to the culture of Thailand. On our 1,5 hour transfer by Van from Bangkok to the Floating Market, we enrolled in a nonstop conversation with him. All questions we gained in the weeks before were answered with detail and from his heart. His personal live, the rice farm, supporting family, Buddhism/religion, funeral service. Just a few topics that crossed our path. Not to mention that his communication skills in English is really good.Whichever tour you take, you certainly will be in good hand with him.Don’t miss out on Mr. Chanin.
We had a great tour with Chanin at Ayutthaya. We took a private tour with him that picked us up in a private van at the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Chanin was warm, knowledgeable and great with our children. He knew a lot about the history of the sites. The weather was very hot but he made sure to give us breaks in A/C. His lunch recommendation was fantastic. We had lots of conversations about the history of Thailand but also about life in Thailand. We made good memories on this tour. Thank you Chanin!
Mr Chanin was an excellent guide. His tour of the floating river market was informative and fun. He is cheerful and good humoured and we all had a great time together. He has also been a guide all over thailand for 27 years so he gave us a great overview for the whole of thailand. Would 100 per cent request him again! He even gave us his number in case we had any other questions on our trip.
Touring Ayutthaya with Mr. Chanin was the highlight of our time in Bangkok. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patiently explained all the historical details to us. At every spot we visited, it felt like listening to a story from a history teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed our day touring Ayutthaya. Not only did we get to see the ancient city, but we also learned so much about its history. Highly recommended if you want to truly understand Ayutthaya.
The guide was very knowledgeable and so friendly. 5* places were beautiful. Temples amazing to see, floating markets a great experience 😃
Super duper great trip to the Train Market and the Floating Market. The guide was very kind, enthusiastic, knowlegdeable and spoke good English. We recommend this to everyone visiting Bangkok, we had a very great time!!!
We were promptly picked up at our hotel by Ninja, our guide, and the driver of mini van. We had paid extra to have private tour which included extras such as dragon boat ride on the River Kwai. Well worth the money! Ninja is very knowledgeable and has super English, explaining everything clearly. Visited graveyard of POW, museum, dragon speed boat up River Kwai and the bridge-so iconic for anyone with an interest in history! A very pleasant hour long train journey to the Bridge of Death which we then walked over, not great with heights but will never forget experience. A good lunch provided then back to Bangkok ( about 2.5 hours).Thoroughly recommend!!!Thanks Ninja!
A most wonderful and special experience. Met at our hotel and transported to the River Kwai. If we had to stop on the way, no trouble. The only stipulation, we must get to the railway on time. Mr Chanin (or Mr 50%) as we came to know him was brilliant, everything was arranged from the speedboat down the Kwai, to seats on the train, to an extra assist when my wife didn’t feel that she could ealk the bridge (many thanks indeed to the kindness of the Kanchanaburi railway maintenance manager Mr.Somsak and his driver Mr. Kittisan who drove us to the wonderful buffet lunch and helped us out). Mr Chanin was a real fixer. I also found out whilst we were there that my Great Uncle had died out there whilst building the rail road, though not on the itinerary Mr Chanin took us to the cemetery and we found his grave. The visit was poignant and much fun. We were told that we might sleep on the way back, but we chatted all the way. I would wholehearted recommend this fine man and his trips, he made the day so special. Thank you Mr 51%.
