I highly, highly recommend Lanna Boutique Travel. Mr. Noom, a former Buddhist monk, took me to Chiang Mai’s most important temples. It was a stunning half day of sites and spirituality. I left enlightened with Mr. Noom’s knowledge and the beauty of Thailand.
Mr. Noom at Lanna Boutique Travel was an excellent tour guide and hiking partner. His English is very good and easy to understand, and he is very friendly and knowledgeable. He and his driver picked us up at our Chiang Mai hotel in a comfortable van for a private tour. We spent a full day visiting Doi Inthanon, stopping for lunch, and hiking on a scenic (and muddy after the rain) trail past waterfalls and rice fields to a Karen hill tribe village where we sampled and purchased coffee grown in the area. We highly recommend Mr. Noom. The day was a highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai.
Great experience . Mr Noom was an excellent guide. He was with us for 3 days. His wealth of local knowledge coupled with his gentle manner were conversation and questions flowed easily. Here trained as a buddis monk so could give an indepth insight. We went from the low lands areas and temples in Changmai to the elephants reserve to the highest points and the source of the Ping river and Chao river which exits in to the gulf of Thailand. An amazing trip. Remover to take a rain jacket of umbrella if going into the mountains, it rains and drizzles constantly . My friend & myself had the best experience traveling with Mr. Noon and his driver. He was a teacher for us teaching us so much about the temples, museums, Buddha and Buddhist monks. We could not have asked for a more kinder informative guide. We were so blessed to have him and to teach us. I lived in Thailand for 2 years and have visited several times but this time going to the temples had a much bigger meaning and I was so much better informed. Our day was the best and that was because of Mr. Noon. I so highly recommend him. We spent the full day in Chang Rai and he took such great care of us.

Noom helped us book a cooking class that was top notch, and was our personal guide in visiting an elephant sanctuary. The sanctuary was a once in a life time experience. Thank you Noom!
Noom want to thank you for a life time experience.Booked a tour with Noom from Ping Nakara where we stayed.Had the best day going to the elephant sanctuary. Hands on learning, making food for them to getting in water and washing them. Total fabulous.Then Noom took us to a restaurant, which served up great food.Then last we went to a special templeThat was different from the temples we had seen the day before at chiang Rei.I recommend this tour and with Noom.You wont be disappointed. We stayed 4 days in Chiang Mai at the Ping Nakara hotel where Mr Noom was offering his services as a tour guide. We wanted something private and just showed up at Mr Noom’s desk at a very short notice and he arranged for us a day trip to the Chiang Dao cave and a huge temple complex as well as a hiking to the highest mountain in Thailand through the lush forest down to a Karen tribe village. AS on our last day he offered to take us to the Doi Suthep as well as a gem of a temple less known to the tourists. As per what other reviewers have said, Mr Noom was a monk for 3 years and we learnt quite a lot about buddhism during those 3 days as well as the Thai culture. Mr Noom was great and his english and services were top notch. We had great time discussing various topics and especially teasing each other about who would win the Euro 2024 ! Mr Noom is a die hard soccer fan 🙂 so be prepared :). All in all, we can highly recommend Mr Noom and his services and will definitely use his services again next time we go back to Thailand and Laos (since Mr Noom can also take you to Laos!). If you are ever in Chiang Mai and want private and customised day trip, Mr Noom is definitely the person to go to!
