At first, me and my friend booked 4 fun dives but at the end they charged us a lot of thing that they were hidden the cost and did not tell us before. Staff name is Di or Dy is very rude and unfriendly. Fantastic local dive center, with a lot of personal attention. Great instructors and they even advised us honestly to dive a day later because of the weather. Also the dive spots are totally amazing!
The accommodation is comfortable and just besides the beach. Located on the sunrise side of the islan. The receptionist is a local guy speaks good basic English, helpful and friendly.Wifi is terrible and the worst is the water pressure. Overall average…
We chose for Satun because it was conveniently located for us. We were staying next door at Power beach resort. We went for two fun dives with a refresher because both of us hadn’t dive for a while, my friend didn’t dive for 20 years even.Our instructor / guide was named Jay, who was super professional and patient. We were lucky to have him as a guide. Going out on a long tail boat was a great addition to our dive, which made it an special experience.
Highly recommend this dive center! They have a very relaxed atmosphere, which made the dives even more enjoyable, yet very professional and felt safe the entire time.I really appreciate how honest they were about weather conditions, visibility and diving sites. The first day I visited looking for information, they told me right away that the the visibility was not the best and told me which places would have the most interesting sea life. They ended up arranging going to Stonehenge -superb diving site!- on a day that the conditions allowed it.I dove with Lena and I’m very happy I was under her care. I’m a certified OW dive with few logged dives. She was happy to review everything with me, was very patient and made me feel secure. Also, she was great at pointing out tiny creatures like nudibranches that I’d definitely have missed otherwise.Thanks Lena for everything! I hope we meet again 🙂

We spent a few days on Lipe last week and did a few diving with Satun Dive. I checked with a few diving shops and this one provided flexible diving programs and the staff at the info desk and Sachan made me feel very welcomed. I arranged 1 day dive and ended doing 2 more dives. Especially I want to mention diving instructor Didi who was very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. He was very patient with my questions about marine lives I was interested. They were honest about diving condition too. Stone henge was very beautiful indeed. I highly recommend this diving shop.
Highly recommend dive shop in Kho Lipe, This shop operated by Thailand national, The owner and staff are amazing and really nice people. The price is reasonable, master guide diver AIF is great guide skills and experienced local guide.They are ECO DIVER, Ocean lovers and marine protect supporters. They have also snorkeling trips and rental kayak and board.We definitely dive with them when I come back to kho lipe.Must visit Stone henge site, fall in love with soft corals,
We’ve been diving here for almost a week. I did my PADI Open Water course and my boyfriend completed the PADI Rescue Diver course.It was my first time diving, and my instructor (Pa Pa), really made me feel at ease and safe. He was very relaxed and took plenty of time to make me familiar with the equipment, the theory and the necessary skills. During the course there was a lot of personal attention. Within three days I got certified. The people/instructors at the diving school are very hospitable, friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable.The diving spots around the island are really good. Plenty of opportunity to see a lot of nice and colorful fish, such as: Barracudas, Puffer fish, Stone fish, Nemos (also really tiny ones), octopus and plenty more. I would definitely recommend this place!!If you’re up for a real -back to basic- experience, you can stay in a bamboo bungalow at the dive resort. There are also more luxurious bungalows, but these are sold out quickly. We supposed to stay at the bamboo huts for three nights but extended our stay by another three nights, because we liked it so much
Learning to scuba dive with Satun Dive on Koh Lipe was an incredible experience. As a first-time diver, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the underwater world. Satun Dive, located on Sunrise Beach, made the entire process smooth, safe, and enjoyable.The diving course on Koh Lipe started with theory through the PADI app, followed by hands-on training in shallow water. The instructors were patient and professional, helping me master key skills like breathing underwater, clearing my regulator, and handling emergencies. Once I was comfortable, we progressed to open water dives at some of Koh Lipe’s stunning dive sites.Over two days, I completed four dives, exploring vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. From moray eels and schools of fish to tiny, colorful sea slugs, every dive was a visual feast. Navigating these breathtaking underwater landscapes felt surreal, and the instructors at Satun Dive ensured I was confident every step of the way.By the end of the course, I earned my PADI Open Water certification, opening the door to more adventures. If you’re considering Koh Lipe diving, I highly recommend Satun Dive. Their expertise and passion made this experience unforgettable.
