The Upsidedown House Museum & Fun Attractions is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 51/11 Moo 5, Chalermprakiet Ratchakan Thi 9 Road, 83000, Thailand
Upside Down House of Phuket, is one exciting attraction in Phuket. As the name would imply, this beautiful pink house stands upside down in a garden like setting. Once you enter, you’ll be amazed as to how everything is turned “upside-down.” Posing for pictures would bring out the creative juices in you. I appreciate that their guides have some excellent pose suggestions. I am amazed that even the fishes inside the aquarium are swimming upside down. So cool!
Wow, this place was so hyped that we expected a lot. From the laissez faire attitude of the staff, to the‘attraction’ itself, it was the fastest we’ve ever gone through a tourism spot. The 8 year old and 6 year old were suitably underwhelmed and for Phuket, this is an expensive and uninspiring 5 minute stay
Had good fun here with kids. The maze is bit basic so probably worth skipping to save cost. Only takes about an hour to get some great funny photos. Not else around this area but easy to get to by car or bike. We went at 5pm and got hurried out towards the end so don’t arrive after 5 or will feel to rushed.
Great experience but a bit far from the center. Taxi costs 300B and takes 15 minutes from the Center. There’s only one floor of upside down thingy. You would love it if you enjoy taking pictures and are creative.
Overall we thought it was cute but for the price and how far it was, we would not recommend it unless you have the time or you are on that side of town. It was about a five minute visit. The staff was sweet and there were other experiences you could do bundled that our group did not participate in which may enhance the experience. I would recommend for kids!
Very exciting place !Particularly adapt for young people who love selfies The staff is very kind and helpful.Very nice
Had an amazing time here. To capture photos and videos in the right angle is a little tricky. Instead I would highly recommend to pay for the video service offered at this place. You will enjoy posing for lovely photos and videos which are also insta perfect 😉 The team will assist/suggest you with different pose as well. Worth the money spent.
I can appreciate what they are trying to do with the upside down house, and I can see why the cost is as it is because they don’t get a huge amount of customers, but unfortunately there just wasn’t enough content in the house to justify the cost of the ticket for us. We tried to go slow and enjoy the whole house but this still only took about 10 minutes. If you were going to stay longer it would be because you are taking photos with every bit of the house not just the fun bits. The maze as well was a bit of a disappointment as you could just walk through the walls. Might be worth going to if you are stuck for indoor ideas with kids or if you really like taking funny photos but otherwise one to skip.
We were lured here by the rave reviews and because we had a small child to amuse. I found the attraction underwhelming. It’s an upside down house. Furniture is tuck to the ceiling. You can take silly pictures of yourself and people inside. What it doesn’t do is create any sense of disorientation – you know there’s a bed stuck to the ceiling, you don’t feel you’ve somehow landed on your head. Our almost four year old was not entertained for long. And inside it is HOT.You can pay extra to visit the maze (completed by our three year old in two minutes – but he is quite good at mazes), and go to the drunk house. This was where we did have fun because the visual and sensory deception is pretty convincing. We thought we had galloped through the attraction but in the end we discovered we’d stayed for exactly the time recommended – one hour. Quite expensive for what it is. But great if you enjoy taking silly pictures.
Notwithstanding the overpriced tourist trap, the worst part of our experience was the aggressive and pushy Leem who caused our son to drop his brand new phone which he received two weeks prior for his birthday and which is now broken beyond repair. He should not be grabbing phones from people’s hands to show them how to take photos, which he did to me, and also when my son my was viewing the photos he had taken on his phone. My son is devastated but Leem took no responsibility and lied and when questioned about how the phone was dropped. Our group also saw him smirk when he was walking away.As this incident happened within 5 minutes of our visit and we were in no mood to continue, we requested a full refund. However, after much negotiating, they would only give a 50% refund which added insult to injury. Needless to say, we would not recommend visiting.
