It was an incredible experience. We spent a week diving at Similan Islands. Instructors were super friendly and helpful. I would for sure repeat with them! Highly recommended.
We spent 4 days with Mónica making amazing dives in Surin and Similan islands. She show us all the best places and gave us many tips to enjoy scuba diving in different situations. I highly recommend Edu and Gemma of buceo Thailandia, and of course Mónica as guide and instructor.
We were diving the similian islands on a Live aboard with Mónica and Edu, great treatment, good knowledge of the spots, always helpful with any issue during the cruise, but also after and before, giving suggestions or tips about our travel.We strongly recomend this guys for any of his activities on Thailand.

We spent 4 days diving with Gemma in the Andaman Tritan. Everything was fantastic, the boat was really confortable with big spaces to move and chill out. Food was amazing, our feeling is that we were eating delicious things all the time! Crew was always really helpful and nice, they did a great work. Our massagist on board was exceptional and we both had the best massage of Thailand.And finally Gemma, our dive master treated us like friends since the very begining, having a really memorable days with her. Our dives were real fun but always safe, and we learnt a lot. She was always looking after us and showing us many beautiful animals that we wouldn’t be able to find. It was our first live-aboard and we didn’t want to leave!!! Richelieu rock is how people say and much more, you don’t know where to look. I strongly recommend them and I hope we can repeat soon. Ah! And we saw an amazing manta!!!!! Thank you!
I really enjoyed the experience. It was my first time and with an open water level only. I did my Adventure to Dive Deep on board. The experience is amazing. You spend the nights in the boat. The attention from the instructor and the personal on board is so warm. They take care of you.The food was incredible. I can ensure you that you will not be hungry.The rooms were super with air conditioning. Our instructor, Gemma, was awesome! She was always helping us with some tips and ensure that we get fun on the diving and on the boat.I really enjoyed these 4 days aboard.
Diving with Gemma and Edu was just as amazing the second time around as the first time! I seem to be going back to them as i’m already planning with Gemma my next trip with them!! This time with Gemma at Similan was sooooo much fun! Water conditions were not the best we could hope for but they still managed to make the experience awesome! Everything went smoothly, the boat was great, clean and comfy, the crew were so lovely and sweet and looked after us as if we were family. The food was amazing and the diving itself incredible! They’re really experienced and each dive was planned so as to give us the best experience possible avoiding the peak hours when the site was too crowded which is much appreaciated cause, as they keep saying, we want to dive with fish not humans!! Hahahaha and we did!! We were almost everytime by ourselves and got to enjoy lots of big fishes (thousands at a time, we xould hardly see each other surrounded by schools ???) sharks and raysI can’t be grateful enough with Gemma and Also Edu and the crew and my fellow diving buddies and i’m coming back as soon as i can!!! They create a relaxed and fun athmosohere each and evey time!Thank You Gemma!!! And thank You Buceo Thailandia for always being the highlight of my holidays!!!
I went on this trip without too many expectations, as I wasn’t very experienced in diving, and didn’t know if I am going to like it that much.Gemma was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience what it was eventually. The patience, enthusiasm and good vibes made me feel very comfortable in the water with her, and enjoy every moment of it.The trip is well planned, and lets you focus mainly on the dives – with lots of food and rest times in between.It was definitely one of my top adventures in Thailand, and major part of it was thanks to Gemma (I know from other friends which had different instructors that the experience wasn’t as good as what I got), so don’t think twice and go explore the underwater life with Gemma!
We met Gemma through a recommendation from a friend, and we hit gold! We booked a lifeaboard through the Similan, our first time so we didn’t know what to expect.Everything was perfect: delicious food, good equipment (Gemma said she doesn’t rent equipment she wouldn’t use, and it’s true), marvelous dives and the best people to share with!The diving experience was smooth and fun. We were also getting our Advanced Certificate and Gemma was helpful and patient with us from the start, which allowed you to feel safe and enjoy the dives the most. Also, we usually were the first to get underwater and the last to go, it shows how Gemma enjoys what she does, and in turn, you will too.She helps you choose the boat and any other paperwork required. On the boat there were other guides, but you could see we got the best guide there!! People gathers around Gemma and you will understand why.Thank you Carlos and Josiño for sharing the experience with us, you are the best diving buddies we could ask for.And special thank you to Gemma, for being so amazing and wise 😉 You are now part of our diving as our advanced instructor and we are looking forward to sharing new experiences with you!(Luckily I kept this short and simple…)
After hearing from a few friends about their liveabord experience at the Similan Islands with Gemma, I ventured to try it myself. It all started out smoothly with the booking as she took care of everything after a couple WhatsApp messages. She sorted out transportation, equipment, insurance, etc. The boat she works with has a very professional, caring crew with an amazing buffet (yup, I happily gained weight :). The bedroom and bed were comfy.I’ve only been diving for the last couple of years, so I am very thankful for Gemma’s guidance and attention to details on each dive. She is very mindful and efficient. She also knew each dive site as the palm of her hand, and it makes sense once you found out she has 13-years of experience at the Similan Islands. It’s like her office, and she treats her office with respect and love. The fact that she is trilingual+ also helps as the crew is very diverse.In addition, our group had also three other divers who are wonderful people and became my friends. So grateful to have also shared the experience with Alfons, Javi and Josiño! The outcome was just wonderful! We got to see a shark (my first shark sight ever on a dive!), a ray, a jellyfish, a snake sea, a giant crab (in the single night dive we did), and tons of marine life. Bonus track: I got to swim with a turtle that was swimming next to the boat when anchored in a dive site. It was just an espectacular experience. I left the boat with a heart full of joy and with my diving skillset leveled up. The cherry on the cake is that I learnt from Gemma that she does at least one diving trip a year to Indonesia, so I’m already planning to join her for a liveaboard in Raja Ampat! Can’t wait for it 🙂
