Park by the road side. The history of this pretty long metal bridge is quite fascinating. Built in 1965 and 200 metres long, it was apparently built for local mine workers. Explanation boards are in Thai and English. You don’t have to spend that long here but certainly worth a look.
Interesting history and def worth a stop if you’re out exploring. If you’re on a bike/scooter even better as you can cross it! Just at side of road so no need to park and walk to see it.
The Iron Bridge is located on the way from Khao Lak to Khao Sok National Park. I had seen them in Google and asked the driver to schedule a break there. It is a beautiful atmosphere there – and all Naslang you are overtaken by a local on scooters, who are probably already a bit surprised but also happy from the smile that a few tourists have lost their way onto their bridge;)
