  1. Took a few trips with these guys already-that speaks for itself.Professional, dedicated motorbike enthusiasts who run a well oiled tour machine.Great, well maintained top bikes,BMW&Triumph, superior Hotels and friendly knowledgeable Tourguides made every trip a truly memorable experience. If you want to make sure to choose the right company-this is the one.

  2. Unfortunately, this was a poorly organized tour. I was on the 26 day 4-country tour. Most of our group’s sat navs (GPS) did not work so we had no navigation. Then one of leaders left us hanging on the days he led. And he took off before everyone was ready, rode as fast as he could with no regard for the tour members so we were lost many times and had accidents. One day both leaders passed us and we had to find our own fuel and water and finally got to the hotel where they were relaxing and having a beer. Some of the route was not scouted so we were on awful dirt roads on bikes that weren’t made for them and then broke. They didn’t check to make sure the lunch or coffee stops were actually open so several were closed. The tour could have been very good with a little more concern for the tour members.

  3. What a fantastic 8 riding day tour, lead by Scott with George in the support vehicle. The days rides were awesome, hotels were fantastic and the restaurants were top notch. and the elephants were cuddly. Plenty of rest stops and lots to see, we took some back roads and got to see some of the real Thailand and took some open highways before we hit the famous 1864 curves ( of varying degrees ), the BMW 1250 GS handled it perfectly and ended up thinking that I may buy one for myself. When we first looked into touring Thailand with BTA we had a lot of questions and every one of them was answered promptly and in detail. I highly recommend this tour and the BTA company, It was our first but won’t be our last tour with them. AJ and Jen, Gold Coast Australia.

  4. 10/10 motorcycle tour. Not only was the riding exceptional, we also enjoyed the cultural aspect of Thailand. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable & took care of our every need. Our tour was a private tour with 8 days riding Northern Thailand including the famous Mae Hong Son road of 1864 bends. A bucket list item now ticked. Bikes were of high quality & well maintained. Thanks BTA, Scott & George for making this a trip of a lifetime.

  5. From the pick-up at Chiang Mai Airport to the drop-off at Pattaya, the tour was run in a professional manner, with accomodation at a very good level, frogs included.Meals were top-notch, frogs not included.Rest day activities were good and up to oneself to organise as one felt fit.Riding times were about right, but the heat was starting to tell towards the end of the tour when going through Cambodia.Border crossings were well handled and efficient.I rode a Triumph Tiger 900, which took a bit of getting used to but a good bike and well maintained.

  6. We returned home yesterday from a month long motorcycle adventure across four countries of Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia). My first order of business was to take the time to write a review and share our tour experience for anyone interested in visiting Asia by motorcycle. This was our first visit to Asia and it did not disappoint. It was also our 14th motorcycle tour and Bike Tour Asia also did not disappoint. BTA is an outstanding tour company who demonstrated patience and concern for their guests from start to finish. Their guides were professional from beginning to end and always had the interest of its customers as their #1 concern. We had 3 tour guides, Daniel (co-owner of BTA) who led the group and who possessed incredible patience and grace throughout the tour; Mia was the second lead and held up the rear of the group. He is best described as the comedian of the company who entertained us with his humor and last, but by no means least, Bom who drove the support vehicle and who excelled at providing exceptional customer service, each and everyday. We also had the benefit of a 4th addition to our group, Polada (Daniel’s wide) joined the tour mid-way thru and she was an excelllent addition who captured great photos and video and she made sure all our needs were met. In addition to our guides, BTA hired handlers to assist us with border, crossings, visas, etc. These individuals were a great help at expediting our time spent at the borders of the four countries. We felt that BTA offered great value for this all-inclusive tour that included top rated hotels, three daily meals, fuel and most entrance fees for daily excursions offered. We visited seven UNESCO world heritage sites , including a full day excursion to Ha Long Bay which was a highlight of the tour for us. All four countries we visited possessed exceptional beauty and uniqueness. My personal favorite was Thailand and I would definitely return again to see more of this beautiful country. I highly recommend BTA as an exceptional motorcycle touring company who did everything possible to make the experience a special one for each tour member. Thank you BTA for providing us with lifelong memories of our visit to Asia. We are very happy we chose you to lead us on our most unforgettable motorcycle adventure across Asia.

  7. My wife and I attended the March 2024 Four Corners of SE Asia Tour, after spending a week in Chiang Mai prior to the start of the trip. Daniel and the team of Bom, Mai and Polanda did a superb job, along with the support teams in Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. It sometimes takes a week of so after these trips to let things sink in, and looking again at the photographs, it is amazing how much we did. Daniel summarised the tour at the last dinner and I found that there were items that surprised me even whilst I was on the trip! This time of year, the temperatures were typically 30-34 degrees C up to 38 degrees in the last week or so. The initial loop around NW Thailand was a great start and got us used to the bikes (R1250GS for both my wife and I), the climate and allowed us to get to know the team & fellow riders before heading to Laos. Each country was very different: the people; the roads; the climate; the food. We had been to all of them before on multiple trips, but travelling on bikes always takes you to places you would not otherwise see. A highlight for me was the Ho Chi Min trail day, which is great on a bike, but I doubt it would be in a car. We also saw the more traditional sights of Angkor Wat and Ha Long Bay, which need to be seen if you haven’t already. It’s a credit to Daniel and team that the variety of hotels (from very basic to 4*), the food and the experiences made it a remarkable set of memories. As usual, its about the people and Daniel was very polite and diplomatic in dealing with the whines and whimsies of the group while maintaining a professional manner, which I, for one, would not have been able to do. Administration, including four border crossings was first rate. We’ve done similar tours all over the world and this trip ranks up there amongst the very best. Thank you BTA!

  8. If you want a memorable trip on high quality motorcycles and super accommodations, then you´ve come to the right place. Thanks to Daniel and Mai with their professional guidance and their eye for detail, you will be taken on a phenomenal trip trough three countries. Not only you will learn about the history of each aerea you ride trough, but also the local customs and cuisine. Mai taught us all the culinary pleasures and peculiarities of the regions. We enjoyed it so much. That they are a well-oiled team was shown by an incident in a small town where a rider drove into a pothole and broke the wheel rim of his bike. They did the almost impossible thing so that the rider could ride back the next riding day. I think they should change their slogan ´Quality bike ride´into HIGH quality bike ride. Thanks Daniel, Mai and the home team for all your effort to make it an unforgettable experience for us.

  9. OK, first I did NOT tour with Daniel and the Bike Tour Asia group. However, I wanted to let others know what an outstanding operation this is. I had booked a solo tour after meeting Daniel in person at a motorcycle rally and doing some due diligence on him and the Bike Tour Asia (“BTA”) operation. Others that had dealt with BTA had nothing but good comments including another tour operator with whom I had toured before. Based on this I basically wore Daniel out with emails while trying to sort the type of trip I wanted to take. Emails were answered promptly and completely. Good deal. When it came time to put my money where my mouth was, I wired BTA a deposit on a bike using bank and contact info that Daniel supplied. My wire was promptly acknowledged by the person in charge of such things and I was on my way starting to learn some basic Thai phrases and get a feel for the country.Fast forward several weeks: because of a personal issue I found that I was unable to make the trip to Thailand and ride in BTA’s gorgeous country. In no way was that due to any misstep on the part of BTA – something came up that was going to preclude my going. Fortunately, I had booked everything (except for local airfare between Bangkok and Chiang Mai which was nominal) on a refundable basis so my airfare came back to me. Hotel reservations were cancelled and I let Daniel know that, unfortunately, I wasn’t not going to be able to make the trip. Though I didn’t expect it, Daniel promptly initiated a refund of my deposit and all except for a nominal amount charged BTA by their bank, my deposit came right back.Long and short of it: I would book with BTA again in a heartbeat and if I can ever make that Thailand trip in the future I will look to no other tour operator. I don’t think you will be disappointed with BTA and, from what I can tell, you won’t be disappointed with your time in Thailand.
