We had such an epic day with Add and Mart who expertly tutored us in rock climbing. Definitely one of our favourite days of our trip so far and would highly recommend to anyone.
Our full day multi-pitch climb at Crazy Horse Buttress with Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures was an absolute thrill from start to finish. Ad, our guide, was not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable but also exuded a genuine passion for rock climbing that was infectious. His attention to safety and detail instilled confidence in us as we tackled the challenging routes. From the exhilarating multi-pitch climbs to the more casual single-pitch experiences, every moment was filled with adventure and breathtaking views. Ad’s patience and encouragement were invaluable, making the entire experience both challenging and immensely rewarding. We left with a profound appreciation for the sport and a newfound sense of accomplishment. Without a doubt, Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures and Ad provided us with an unforgettable day of adventure and camaraderie.
I had a great experience climbing outdoor with the instructors at CMRC. The climbing routes were challenging very doable and the instructors were helpful and very focused on safety.I’ll definitely climb with CMRC again.
I was the only one booking the tour. So didn’t get to neet other climbers but had a lot of time with the two super nice guides! Crazy horse looks stunning! We were climbing 7 routes in total from 5a to 6a+. The routes were up to 26m long. In the end we also did abseiling from 45m into a cave.Also included is a voucher for their gym, so plan accordingly!Can definitely recommend!
Had a great time climbing and rappelling into a cave at Crazy Horse Buttress. Guides Tiffy and Namwan were very safe and fun to be around. Highly recommend.
The adventure was so much fun. Crazy horse is a great climbing area. The entire itinerary was very well planned. The transportation, the morning climbing and the afternoon rappelling were both very interesting. The lunch was also very delicious. Our instructors are great, the route was well-arranged, and they provided us with a lot of assistance. Strongly recommend! Really would like to go climb in the winter time.
I am an international trip leader, outdoor trip leader, and educator myself, and I immediately selected CMRCA to craft our family adventure in Thailand. Our experience was more than fun, it was important to us as a family. Our climbing and caving days were progressional, safe, and deeply impactful. Our bonding as a family and our immersion into Thai culture continued when our superior guides, Oan and Nutty, also guided us through a village homestay. We are so grateful for this experience! To top it off, we had a semi-private day with a truly ethical elephant sanctuary. I cannot say enough good things about Josh and his team.
I usually go climb outdoors really often. But since I’m in a foreign country, I decided to book the tour. And it turned out FANTASTIC!! Very well organized plus the instructors were really helpful on setting up the routes and planning other itineraries (familiar with the surroundings). Would definitely recommend to choose this tour if you want to have a great climbing experience at Crazy Horse. (Lunch was delicious btw)
Just went to Crazy Horse near Chiang Mai for the first actual cliff climbs of my life. Staff was very professional and conscientious. I was also surprised by the level of climbing skills some others in my introductory group had. I realize now why more time in the climbing gym is also important for training your hands and feet to find routes up actual cliffs. Challenging and fascinating day.
