Super friendly, attracts great people – Thai and international. Best free music I’ve ever heard. Seriously talented musicians and singers live and visit the island. New people arrive all the time so every night different. Quirky and more hip than the more commercial bars. Drinks reasonably priced too.
This place was great! It was a bring your own bbq and a bar. You can cook your own food, but must buy your drinks. Cocktails and beers are both good and inexpensive. They had fantastic live music later in the evening. A walk up singer was doing a great job as well. Not only as a play on words, but the Vibe was fantastic. Great people, both divers and locals were hanging out. I highly recommend it!!!Peter
Bit of a Koh Tao secret. Hardly any tourists but a big crowd of locals. Three bands the night I was there all of which were quality. The Thai ska rendition of Madness One Step Beyond was a particular highlight! Cheap prices on drinks, good music and a friendly atmosphere made for a great night out, hopefully to be repeated soon! I think that they’re currently open Tue Thur and Sun.
It does what it says, good vibes bar is a great place to let down your hair, kick off you shoes and sing and dance the night away. The bar is always full of fun, creative and eccentric finding their inner diva.. If you are gonna go anywhere for a up beat night this place is a must, you won’t be disappointed.. Very relaxed bar with great live music. Bring your own instrument and jam in if you like. Or just enjoy a beer at the bar or a cocktail, fair prices! I specially like the mix of local people and tourists.
On a small island most of the bars are the same style, pop/dance or reggae on the beach. We feel very lucky to have a very friendly wee bar playing good live funky music on our doorstep. It is also super friendly and social place to chill and make new friends.
The Good Vibe Bar is definitely a Koh Tao’s nightlife hidden gem for its live music and jam session. They mostly play jazzy and funky tunes I love. The bar itself is in a unique laidback setting with warm atmosphere and friendly staff/musicians. Good Vibe is also a great place to meet new friends and hang out with cool locals and expats. Don’t miss it!
Lovely place to spend the evening with friends listening for live musics and participating in jams and dancing even in the rain😄🎹🪕🎸🎺🎷🎤💃👯♀️🕺🏼!Different bands singing pop, jazz, reggae, latin… Especially I love thai guys singing in Spanish sometimes! 😄💓Friendly and family atmosphere, good attitude, great people, loyal prices for drinks.Highly recommended to visit!
If you like live music, this is the only place to go Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. It’s such a great place, and comfortable to go by yourself, when you don’t feel like drinking, but still want to relax and enjoy live music in a friendly atmosphere. Different themes on the different nights keep the music feeling new and fresh, and the band are EXCELLENT. Tailoring their set to the audience and mood of the evening, you can expect to hear songs in Thai or Spanish as well as English. Khap kuhn kra!!
