Suwanus is one of the best tour guides I ever han in Thailand. She’s kind and perfectly delivers the information and tour services. It was a very complete jungle tour, we were so Lucky to spot a couple of Gibbons in the jungle, learn about Mae Kam Pong history and nature, we had a lovely break between hikes at the best Cafe… Highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic day walking through the forest with a local guide learning about the different fauna and flora and about the villagers life. We were fortunate to spot a gibbon too which was incredible.Communication was good from booking to pick up and transportation was good.Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made us all feel comfortable.I would recommend this tour if you like nature, the outdoors and wanting to escape the town for a day.
Fantastic tour of sticky waterfall and the elephant sanctuary. Lovely local guide with some interesting knowledge and suggestions. Highly recommended, we both had a great time.
We had a fantastic day exploring Doi Inthanon, the rainbow waterfall and The Royal Pagodas amongst other things. There were highlights throughout the day and we enjoyed every minute. The things we’ll remember most were eating strawberries bought from the side of the village strawberry fields, walking through the jungle (with guide) looking for local flora & fauna, the rainbow waterfall & the Royal Pagodas. Our guide TK and our driver were thoughtful, caring and great company. We’ve 2 trips with Eco Tours Chiang Mai and would thoroughly recommend them. Great company, good ethics and super staff.
I really enjoyed this tour. I was a bit hesitant given the cost, but I feel it was well worth it. The entire experience was very professionally organized and run. Our guide, Suwanus, was so lovely – so sweet & friendly, a wealth of local knowledge, patient, and clearly loves what she is doing. Eco Tours, the company running the trip, is making a great contribution to the local community and helping to preserve a gorgeous unspoiled forest. Our group had only six people, which was an ideal size. Pickup was so easy, ride was comfortable and quick. Drink for coffee break & full lunch were included at local restaurants – both were scenic with delicious choices. We were lucky enough to see not one but two gibbons, and it was such a wonderful treat to see them swinging through the canopy and watching us. I recommend binoculars as they spend most of their time quite high up, though we were able to get some good photos when they came down lower for a bit. The local caretaker is clearly very dedicated to his role and seems like a real lover of nature and the wild animals he is looking after. Obviously I would highly recommend this trip! Definitely follow their advice about good hiking shoes, bug spray, & fitness level.
