  1. We had a perfect day with our guide Tim, so nice and helpful with us.All the day was well organized: from our pick up at our hotel, until the end of the day when Tim leave us at the hotel. The family takes care of elephants. The lunch was so good.It was an amazing day which has finished by a visit of waterfalls. Thank you very much !

  2. Pam our tour guide was extremely informative and made us feel very welcome. She told us everything about Thai culture and was extremely accommodating. The pad Thai was the best I’ve had!!Was a wonderful experience to see the elephants treated so nicely and in their natural habitat, would definitely recommend this trip!

  3. What a different experience this was to the first elephant encounter several years ago! Their elephants are cared for and loved in a large jungle setting. The tour included feeding the elephants, cuddling, kissing, mud spa and bathing them. Recommend highly! Special thanks for Pam for being my tour guide. She’s highly knowledgeable and friendly!

  4. We (a family with 3 teens from NZ) had a great day with Elephant Heritage. Our local guide Pam was very friendly and helpful and shared a lot of information about the elephants and how they are cared for at the sanctuary. We enjoyed being able to touch and feed the elephants, even if they were a bit scary at first. Helping give the elephants a mud bath and washdown in a pond was also a highlight.Although this wasn’t a wilderness experience, the elephants seemed well cared for and happy. I would have liked a little more time to just watch them wander around doing natural elephant stuff – we saw some others doing this in the distance. The farm setting was lovely and interesting too.Cooling off at the sticky waterfall on the way home was the icing on the cake.A great day for the whole family (even the one who was terrified of elephants!). Highly recommended.

  5. Chiangmai Elephant Heritage provided my friends and I an unforgettable experience with the elephants that they have rescued. Pam (our guide) was vastly knowledgeable, a great communicator and very funny. She picked us up right on time at our hotel. Walked us through the local market where she bought our lunch. She taught us about the elephants, and instructed us on how to prepare bananas, sugar cane and vitamin balls for the elephants to eat.Pam also lead us through the feeding, mud bathing, washing and play time. They served us a delightful lunch and she even took amazing photos for our group through the entire experience. We can’t thank you enough Pam. You are a very special person. And until next time, many blessings and lots of joy.-Christopher

  6. What a nice experience. It has been unmatched from the hotel pick-up, the elephant experience, the ride to the waterfalls and the absolutely delicious food. The best thing about this tour has been our guide Pam, a kind and sweet person who cared about us all day and explained everything to us carefully. There was a boy from the village named Tu, he was also very funny on this whole ride. I definitely recommend it 100% and I hope all the excursions are like Pam does. Thank you sooo much ❤️

  7. We are incredibly disappointed. The elephants do not walk around freely, but are forced with food to go into the match, then back into the river to where everyone is standing. At lunchtime they have to go somewhere else and are then brought back to the same place by the “staff” to start the next tour. The same thing every day! 5 elephants who definitely don’t have a good life! And to be honest, it’s all the same there! This was confirmed to us several times by locals Please be careful and avoid all these tours!

  8. Pam and Tu are who picked us. They are both amazing, really great company and make sure your having a fun the whole time. Is my second time in Chaing Mai at that specific Elephant sanctuary and I’d happily go a 3rd time. Was a really perfect day out !!

  9. Pam and tu ,the tour guides are amazing! Friendly and really helpful. The sanctuary is wonderful.Would highly recommend !
