  1. Great location, great trainers and owners. Would highly recommend to anyone at any level of Muay Thai. Will be going back for sure.

  2. I booked a private one hour lesson through my hotel. I was looking to keep active on my holiday but had never done Muay Thai before so wasn’t sure what to expect. But I had such a good time I went back for another session. I had a different trainer for each session and I thought both were excellent. So much fun and such a great workout – probably the highlight of my stay at Koh Yao Noi. Thanks team – you were awesome.

  3. I had a wonderfull stay. The warm welcome, the two well built up technical training sessions with great trainers, the tastefull healthy food, the enthousiastic fellow students and the beautifull environment made IT

  4. This place is incredible. Turned up with absolutely no fight experience what so ever. Was welcomed with open arms by everyone. They have a real passion for what they do and I learnt so much in my short stay. Only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. Already planning my return. Thanks guys and see y’all soon 🙂

  5. I spent a week at KYN and loved every minute spent here. The training is intense and thorough with a strong focus on technique. If you are familiar with muy thai or other combat training then i would not hesitate to recommend an extended stay of a week or more. For the unitiated i suggest you train a bit before you come to be able to make the most of the twice daily sessions avaliable at KYN. Otherwise you can also just have a private session during your stay at koh yao noi. The food provided is great and so is the accomodation. Scooter hire is avaliable onsite. Koh Yao Noi has a 7-11 pharmacy and plenty of spots to eat and drink.

  6. KYN Muay Thai GymDefinitely my favourite gym, due people, location, training and food. The staff is supportive, in any way you need support. Trainings are tuff, but always to make you better and you are always watched after by the trainers. I haven’t found a gym where there is that much of sparring, and that’s where I believe comes the real growth. During the trainings there is more than enough time to improve your technics too. The intensity of the daily trainings will strength your condition and muscles, but, unless you ask for it, all the time the trainers spend it on your fighting skills. If you wish you can go running yourself at this beautiful island or make use of the fitness equipment in the gym. Many beautiful beaches, amazing restaurants and about two bars is what the island can give to you. And don’t forget the local people, no need to lock your door, this community is built on love, trust and 100% inclusivity. Those two bars are enough for some joy and entertainment and also to keep the island a peaceful place to be. The meals served at the gym are tasteful and made with love, perfect to feed you. After trying quiet some places I wouldn’t not only say that this is my favourite place to train Muay Thai, it is also my favourite place to train for life.

  7. I have been visiting the KYN gym over the past ten years and each time my experience gets better and better. It has a family feel to the place, everyone is included weather that’s the training or just sitting around the bar area. The location of the gym is stunning, you find yourself jut looking around at the beautiful views, and the sunsets each day.The training can be as full on as you want it to be, you can do group session or private session. The group session are in the morning and in the afternoon, you are warmed up, and coached about Muay Thai, no matter what level you are, you are looked after and helped at each stage of training. It is amazing for fitness, or if you are looking to have a fight, it would be a perfect island to train on. The head trainer P is a lovely man and looks after you like familyWhen you are not training, you have many people who work there who can give you ideas on what to do around the island, you can easily rent a bike within minute and be on your way.Matt and Chewy run the bar and kitchen, they are both helpful relaxed and welcoming to all, and make it easy for you to order whatever you need. The gym is owned by Harry and his daughter Lisa, Harry will pop by the bar from time to time, talk to him, he is a lovely man.Lisa is an ex Mauy thai champion and just a lovely women, she knows alot about the island so annoy her by asking anything! The island takes about 45 min to ride round and there are many bars and places to eat, the food everywhere is at a high standard. If you go to Thailand you wont be disappointed going to KYN, everyone who goes for 1 day, stays a week, anyone how books a week stays for 2!

  8. Just returned from an amazing week at KYN with my 11 year old son. It was his first Muay Thai training and he just loved it! KYN is not just for those hardcore Muay Thai fighters but is a place for all levels, ages and families too as it really has a great family feel to the place. We instantly felt welcomed by the staff, trainers and other guests. My son did 2 PT sessions most days with a big emphasis on skills and technique but also it was great fitness. His progression by the end of the week was amazing. I really enjoyed the training too after many years break from the sport. So no matter what your level of ability and fitness – the training is for everyone. I cant speak highly enough about head trainer P and his team – they are true professionals and so caring – such a great atmosphere to learn.Big thanks also to the staff including Matt and Chewy managing the resort – great people and very easy going. The food was also really good – especially all the Western and Thai options. Lisa and Harry the owners really have created something special here and my son and I are already booking our next visit. Finally the location – Koh Yao Noi is amazing – we had bikes and rode around a relatively quiet island especially compared to Phuket.

  9. We loved the hospitality of the staff (especially Chewy, who helped us to organise boat trips, ferries and gave general advice on anything we needed on the island) and the accomodation was in a beautiful location. Nice and relaxed vibe at the central pool/bar area too.

  10. This quite camp has a nice and chilled atmosphere. At the Bar/Restaurant you can watch the training and the ocean, which is beautiful especially at sunset. The coaches are competent and very helpful. The rooms are spacy and were daily cleaned during the morning training session. I spent six weeks there in april & may. Usually 2-3 guests are staying there, plus some more guests showing up for the afternoon training. So it’s quite and the coaches offer an individual training. The camp is perfect for everyone who is looking for a quite place. Due to the no existing wifi, there’re really no distortions. Somehow a mixture of temple stay + muay thai training. Unfortunately I contracted a bacterial infection from the gym’s pool and due to the phukets hospital, I’m not the first one.
