Lanta fun divers was the best part of my Thailand and Koh Lanta visit. Everything worked precisely in german way but still in a laid back atmosphere. Staff was great and friendly. Everything felt pro and well organized. Equipment was really good and carefully maintained. If you are considering this, just take it. You are not going to regret. If you are looking for the cheapest this is not for you, but if you are looking for the best this is where you go. I definately will be back.
I was diving with these guys almost every year, when I’m on holidays in Thailand. Like the late starts by speedboat, to get to the divesites. Everytime good times, fun with the boatcrew, professional guides. This season finally lucky to see a Whaleshark!
We chose Lanta Fun Divers for a day of diving and snorkling off the coast of Ko Lanta. Very friendly and professional staff, great organisation and planning, relaxed atmosphere on board and overall a great experience.
My husband and I took the PADI open water course. We had a great time and a very good experience. Our instructor Fabian was absolutely excellent. Very professional, kind, with perfect English. Really a very nice guy. All of the team were very kind and helpful. They picked us up from the beach, with a speedboat, which makes the ride much shorter than in a big bout (half an hour instead of an hour and half). The equipment was in a very good condition. We highly recommend Lanta Fun Divers, for everyone who wants to experience diving.
I met these guys randomly in a restaurant and was so pleased I did my first ever scuba dive with them. There are three reasons for this;Firstly, I had time in the shop the day before to fit my gear and do my initial ‘test’ with lots of things explained to me and then, the next morning before we went out to dive, we went through everything again. This is brilliant compared to other dive schools where you just do the briefing on the boat.l and personally helped me a lot.Secondly, they have their own speedboat driven by a Thai captain and his assistant. This means you get to sites quicker and you can access places the big boats can’t get too. It also means you have two people to help you personally on and off the boat – including someone putting your flippers on! Again, you don’t get this on the big boats.Thirdly, my instructor Stephane was awesome. Perfect English and super professional and patient. I felt 100% safe at all times and with his expertise I got down to 11m which for someone who was previously too scared to snorkel without a lifejacket is quite an achievement.As someone said previously they aren’t the cheapest company but it’s totally worth the extra money to have this experience. Thanks so much to you all, especially Stephane, you’ve made my holiday 😊
Booking our day trip with them was a breeze. Stephane who helped us from start to finish was so friendly, professional, & full of knowledge! The three of us all inexperienced ( beginners) decided to go with Lanta FD and we are so happy we did. The Red HOT boat picked us up from the beach we were staying on- convenient and cool 😎 On the boat trip to our first dive spot we were trained a bit on the equipment, what to do & and what not to do. Once we got in the water they trained us some more and showed us how to properly use our scuba gear. The three of us were divided into two groups – the instructors Bart and Stephane switched off with all of us and stayed close by and always guided us. At first I had some anxiety and Stephane totally made me feel so comfortable!!! After about 25 minutes in water I felt more relaxed and was able to explore with him close by ( made me feel better LOL) The 2nd dive was even better- I was able to go down 12 meters and we stayed down in the water for 1 hour. Stephane saw I was comfortable and stayed back about 2 meters from me and always had a close eye, pointing out the cool fish! They saw a sea snake, and I saw a jelly fish, & lots of eel. Both Stephane and Bart made our experience awesome – they are a great team. Thank you Lanta Fun Divers!!! Oh and lunch, fresh fruit, and all the Coca-Cola and water you want. 🇩🇪 🇫🇷
5* service divetrip, very recommended! Everything is taking care of by Nico and the very helpfull boatcrew. They set up your diving-gear and are helping you by going into the water en helping when you return to the boat after your dive. You are on a dive holiday 🙂
