I have my SCUBA cert, but this particular trip, I had a cold, so was snorkeling instead. At first I was kind of bummed to not to get to dive, but Hidden Depths made it a great experience! The staff was so kind and thoughtful. It was a mixed boat of scuba and snorkelers, but I did not feel ignored at all. Our guide was incredible and great at pointing out marine life, which is what my partner and I were there to check out. Saw some of the coolest marine life I’ve seen anywhere around the world, which obviously isn’t in the staff’s control, but shows how knowledgeable they are.
Hidden deapths is a superb dive shop, in a place where there are many other good ones, this stands out. The use of speedboats make the whole experience much nicer (unless you get very sea sick). You start your day with a lovely breakfast on the dock, then a swift 30-40 minute boat ride to the site. Both the boat staff , divemasters and administrative staff are amazing, smiley and love their job. Equipment is new and well functioning, soft drinks and fruit are served on the boat, and all in all the whole ride is short and fun.The day ends with lunch back on dry land, which is a superb way to finish a fantastic day out in the beautiful sites around Koh Lanta.
Wow, what a fantastic dive centre!I just did 5 days diving with Hidden Depths and would like to to thank the whole team for fantastic time. From start to finish, everything was perfect.Everything was well organised and ran like clockwork, the equipment was great, the dive boat was excellent with plenty of room, and the ratios were small(mostly 2 divers to one staff). The whole team were super friendly and know their stuff, and the diving was up there with some of the best I have done in nearly 3000 dives. Special thanks go to Aleesha and Megan for guiding the dives, and many thanks to Juan for organising everything.Really well done guys! Thanks for an amazing time.
My husband and I have done quite a lot of diving (as past Instructors) and choosing a dive center when there are quite a few can be difficult. Juan’s communication right from the start reaffirmed that this was the right choice and what an incredible few days they gave us! Their operation is second to none and the diving day and everything involved is so well organised and gives the customer the most comfortable and enjoyable day possible! The equipment was superb (and time was taken to ensure everything was just right), and the guides Alesha and Megan gave us excellent dives and are so incredibly professional and experienced. Juan really took our experience level into consideration and almost all dives were the two of us with a guide. You can tell the staff love what they do which comes across in the happy atmosphere and wonderful diving. I would not hesitate to book with Hidden Depths, whether you are a beginner or experienced diver, it has been some of the very best diving we have ever done and we are already excited to do more with them again in future! We went snorkeling today with Hidden Depths. It was amazing!!! We went to Koh Haa as snorkelers on a shared boat with divers. The owner said we would get at least 3 hours of water time if we wanted and we did – with a snorkel guide too. We went to the lagoon- clear shallow water, around the big rock. Next stop had a wall of gorgeous colorful hard corals and a cave grotto with a giant moray- better than Koh Mook! Wonderful staff that treated us just as well as the divers. Megan and the other diver masters were so nice, so was our guide Moo? And the owner- just amazing! He kindly loaned us a weight belt for 3 days of our stay in Koh Lanta – even though we took it on other trips- and he delivered it to our hotel by taxi. What a guy! Thank you. Go to Koh Haa with Hidden Depths as snorkelers- they treat you right and are so kind 🤗👍🐠

It’s been our baptism in diving and it’s been an amazing experience. Juan is super nice and welcoming The whole team just made us feel like home taking care of us, celebrating our steps day by day up to the end of the course.Meghan has been our instructor. She is just great! She has a special gift and made everything easy making sure that all of us were aligned and confident on any skills. I’ve been duving for over 15 yrs. Have been to various dive centers. Hidden Depths is one of the nicest friendliest generous centers I’ve been to. It’s like a liveaboard for daily dives. You start with a small breakfast and coffee. Get on the speedboat. All your equipment is already put together and waiting for you. Drinks and snacks on the boat. Two great dives each day. We dived for two days. Beautiful sites. Super relaxed dives, so we could really enjoy the dive. Great discoveries of crabs shrimps morenas sharks etc etc. Dive guides were very professional and helpful. Groups were always 3-5 divers with guide dive so it was never crowded under water Back at the center equipment is taken care of for you. A small Thai lunch and drinks await you.A lovely dive center making you feel at home from the moment you walk in.
Thank you Toni and Juan for teaching us the first steps of diving and showing us the wonderful world under water! We would have loved to do the longer course, but unfortunately there wasn’t enough time.
We had an amazing time diving with the team at Hidden Depths in Koh Lanta! We had the absolutely amazing guide/instructor Alesha for my partner’s advanced course over 3 days! She was super helpful, very knowledgeable and great at spotting macros for us! We would definitely recommend diving with them and would join again if we ever make it back to Koh Lanta!
