We booked a transfer from Bangkok to the Koh Chiang ferry.We decided for Siam Service because it was more expensive than the competition. The more you pay, the more value you get, don’t you?Well, no. The driver was almost on time, we only had to wait 5 minutes. He didn’t speak a word of English, but he was well instructed and made 2 stops at service stations, where we could buy drinks and snacks, and use the rather clean restrooms. Nothing to complain, nothing to get exited about.But:The car, a Toyota SUV, was very old. Too old. It had 320,000 km on the counter, which means it was driven 8 times around the world, before he picked us up. It wasn’t dirty, but too old to be clean. The seats were sagging and the suspension completely worn out. The trip felt like a 5 hours flight through heavy turbulence. Not funny. My back hurt on arrival. Not funny at all.-And Siam Service didn’t contact us afterwards to ask how all went. They seem not interested.I won’t book them again.
Availability, responsiveness, flexibility, punctuality and very attractive prices for the various transfers scheduled throughout our stay which we were able to enjoy in complete peace of mind. We spent a day in Ayutthaya with 2 French-speaking guides. Excellent and very rewarding day. We were able to learn a lot about Thailand. The excursion to Ayutthaya is also perfect with pick-up from our hotel and is beautiful. I highly recommend Siam Service.

We spent 4 days with Patrice and Klang in Kanchanaburi, Erawan and Ayutthaya. Patrice was a wonderful guide, interesting, erudite, full of anecdotes and a good sense of humor. Klang was extremely kind and a good companion.Our program was full and rewarding. The hotel in Kanchanaburi on the banks of the Kwai River was superb.In short, as they say, we got our money’s worth. The agency Siam Service/ Voyage is highly recommended. They also do tours in Bangkok. If we’d known, we’d have taken them for that too.A big thank you to our guides!
