  1. We spent an incredible four days in and around Bangkok with private tours arranged by Smiling Albino. We enjoyed the longboat ride through the canals, the trip to the floating markets and the day in Ayutthaya. The foodie tour was a highlight. They also arranged a private moonlight sea canoe tour in the islands off Phuket as a special birthday celebration for me. All of these were wonderful and exceeded my expectations. However, when I had a travel snafu and called them to help, they literally saved the day. Air Asia would not check our luggage all the way through to our final destination on some flights that I booked myself. I realized that we would probably not make our connection in Bangkok from Cambodia to Laos because we would have to go in and out of customs and security to pick up our luggage.I texted my contacts at Smiling Albino in a panic asking for help as I boarded my flight in Phnom Penh. An hour and a half later, a smiling concierge was waiting for us at our jetway and expedited the whole process, escorting to the front of the line in customs, carrying our luggage, taking us to the front of the line to customs again, through the diplomatic security line and into a private lounge with time to spare. WOW! Even though this happened a week after our tours together, they stepped in at a moment’s notice to help us out. I can’t recommend them enough.

  2. This is the second time that we have used Smiling Albino to help us with a trip to Thailand. They were great again. They cover other countries in Southeast Asia but we have only used them for Thailand which is where they are based. They can book a full itinerary or help you with as little as you need. This time we only stayed at two resorts that I had already chosen but they still helped us and obtained rates and inclusions that we could not get on our own.

  3. Many thanks for Smiling Albino for helping us plan an 11 day trip to Thailand where we visited Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok with our family of 4 (including two teenage boys – more on that to come!). The whole trip planning process was very smooth with SA offering us lots of different options for excursions in each of the cities we visited and then helping us choose a good balance of touring and rest as we made our way across the country. A special shout out to Eak in Chiang Mai who had the gift of being able to tailor our tours both for both mom and dad (temples and history) AND for the boys (shopping!) and make the whole thing very fun! In Bangkok we loved Ninee who spent a few days with us exploring the culture and of course food in the city; in fact, we were sad to say goodbye since we all had such a wonderful time together. Outside of the touring, SA also helped with transfers which were all perfect… hotel recommendations… and dinner reservations. We only had one minor bump in our trip which the team at SA took care of immediately and professionally. When we come back to Asia again, we will 100% book SA again!

  4. We engaged Smiling Albino for day trips around Bangkok- the half day Liquid Bangkok experience, and the full day Ancient Ayutthaya. For both tours we were absolutely thrilled.Communication with the company was very efficient and responsive right up to the point of departure. We had the same guide for both trips and she was superb. Entertaining, organised, and took care of everything. Where she really demonstrated her skill was knowing when to fade into the background- allowing us to enjoy something as a couple- and also in managing the heat in Ayutthaya. While both tours were excellent, Liquid Bangkok took a slight edge for us in that it introduced us to a side of Bangkok, and allowed us to experience a side of the city, that we simply wouldn’t have been able to do ourselves. Very highly recommended.

  5. We used Smiling Albino in Siem Reap, Cambodia and it was an incredible experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Ankor Wat. The guide (Ra) was wonderful and the attention given unparalleled. He knew right where to take us for the best photos, how to avoid the crowds and when we needed a break. He was attentive to our needs; stopped for. Fresh coconut half way through the adventure biking. The lunch at Chenery Tree was delicious. The timing on everything was perfect. Thank you! We will book another tour with the group when we return to Asia.

  6. We utilized Smiling Albino for our trips to Bangkok and Chiang Mai and could not say better things about our experience. The tour guides (Yo in Bangkok and Berm in Chiang Mai) were so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, the drivers were wonderful, and the excursions were so much fun. We felt like VIPs the whole time we were with them and left having experienced Thailand even better than we imagined. If you are going to these cities, I would very strongly recommend working with this organization.

  7. Kelly from Smiling Albino was so helpful and responsive. I had friends who used Smiling Albino for their trip to Asia and referred me. I reached out to Kelly and she connected me to great people to help me plan an amazing trip. She responded to my emails quickly and consistently and with great info before I even hired Smiling Albino. She was fantastic!

  8. I had heard great things about Smiling Albino, so I reached out to them to help plan a family adventure in Thailand over Christmas and New Year’s. Normally, I am the planner of our family trips, but this time I wanted to be “along for the ride” a bit more. They exceeded my expectations in every way.The planning process was extremely easy and they were very agreeable making changes I suggested to the itinerary, hotels, etc. For example, they originally suggested a very beautiful hotel on the river in Bangkok, but it was a bit removed from all the action, and I am more of a city girl, so we changed planned accommodations to the Hotel Muse. It worked out perfectly.Once we are at in Bangkok, I never had to think about logistics again. We were immediately grabbed by an airport escort and expedited through customs and into a waiting van, with all our luggage. Transportation and guides were seamless and always in place with cold towels, cold water, and snacks. I need to give a shout out to our incredible guides, Mr. Yo in Bangkok, Ms. Sanee in Chiang Mai and Mr. Dee in Phuket.Ms. Sanee really stood out. She brought us coffee from her home village as a parting gift, and was completely agreeable when my boys, who are 19, 18 and 14, decided they were worn out on temples and traffic. Instead, that day she arranged for them to have Muay Thai lessons at a local gym, which ended up being a highlight of the trip for them. We are now friends on WhatsApp. The drivers arranged by Smiling Albino were also top-notch. Mr. Tot, in particular, was so funny and so good with the boys. One day we hiked several hours up a mountain, had lunch at the top in avery rural village, and then rafted down on bamboo rafts – only to find Mr. Tot there ready to greet us with coffee, clean towels, arrangements for us to shower, and snacks. It is impossible for me to capture in one review all the amazing things we did, but certainly much of it I would never have known how to, or have thought to, arrange on my own. There were always turtles and fish to feed, lotuses to fold origami style, and boats and Tuk tuks to catch. My boys were never bored and never grumpy, which makes for the perfect trip. I will forever be grateful for all the work that clearly went into this.

  9. Finished an extraordinary tour a couple of weeks ago with this company in Bangkok. Teresa Beal Expeditions booked our group of 8 for a two day tour in Bangkok with Poy and Malin. I’ve been on at least 50 tours in my life in many many countries and this was by far the best one I’ve ever been on.I can’t praise Malin and Poy enough. From the moment we met them until they dropped us off at the airport they were beyond amazing. I couldn’t believe their attention to every single detail. They were kind, funny, knowledgeable, engaging, and never in a hurry to get to one place from another. They knew the best places for pictures, they kept us safe (crossing streets, not walking into a hole) and had one surprise after another for us. We all learned so much about Thailands culture, religions, customers, etc. from them. They were able to explain everything we asked them (which was a lot). We enjoyed our experiences so much with them that we wanted to take them to our next destination! As far as the two day tour it was perfect. The vans they used are very nice, the drivers were safe and courteous. We felt like “rock stars” how when we came out of one place they would be there waiting for us. They provided water, cold towels, snacks, which were all very much appreciated. Some of the things that we did was go to the Grand Palace, Sleeping Buddha, Flower Market, rode the Tuk Tuks, and went on a boat through the Floating Markets. It was the most wonderful cultural experience. I highly recommend this company for your time in Thailand

  10. We had an AMAZING private 1/2 day tour of the Grand Palace and the Flower Market. Absolutely the BEST private tour we have ever had! Our guide “Meow’. (Pardon my spelling ) went above and beyond to make our visit very special. She was so knowledgeable about everything and she speaks great English! She is a very skilled tour guide. It felt like we were visiting a friend and she was showing us her favorite sights in Bangkok! She met us at our hotel (Mandarin Oriental). From the moment we met her, we knew we were going to have a great time! We started with a river taxi to the Palace. We toured the buildings and every once in a while we would stop and sit down (in the shade) and she would tell us the history. After a few hours we were ready to move on, so she asked us what we would like to do next. Many options of reclining Buddha other temples etc. We decided to do something different so we hopped in a Tuk Tuk to the flower market. Unreal. So interesting. We walked around and ended up in an out of the way coffee shop – also amazing! We highly recommend this tour. AND MEOW! Simply the best!
