Khunka Massage is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 80/7 Rachadamnoen Road Sri-Phum Subdistrict, 50200, Thailand
I visited with myself, my husband and three children. The place was dirty. Walls were stained. Didn’t present a nice atmosphere. I don’t need it to be grand but do like a clean looking space. We were taken to the top floor. My masseuse didn’t listen to any of my requests for example to focus more on my back than my legs. She also was coughing so much but wasn’t covering her mouth. While I didn’t enjoy the experience, once I left my back aches and pains were better. But I go for a massage for the experience as well as the health benefits. So for that reason I am rating it low.
My friends each did something different here and they all enjoyed it! We did mani/pedis, the head/back/shoulder massage and the back/should/foot massage – we didn’t want a luxurious spa day, so the one hour sessions were perfect for us! The massages each involved some stretching which was my favorite part. The employees were all very nice and friendly. It was nice receiving tea while looking over the different packages and then at the end – you don’t feel rushed leaving after the massage. I read the previous review about it being dirty but didn’t feel like it was; it actually smelled pretty good and clean! We enjoyed it so much, we went back for another massage rather than try out a new place!

Highly recommended, the shop doesn’t look like much, but we had 2 very good massages there (120 mins traditional Thai and 120 mins of oil). The masseurs are friendly and very skillful. The owner was very thoughtful, they even allowed us to have a quick shower before our oil massage. The place was very clean and the location is perfect, just a stone’s throw away from Wat Chedi Luang.
Visited this place twice today … really professional service, warm welcome and super clean. Both had back and shoulder massage ( one with oil and one without). Really attentive service, did exactly what was asked in terms of pressure. Drinks on arrival and departure. No distractions during the session unlike most other massage spas. Really impressed with the service, ambience and prices.
The masseuse was very experienced. I liked the massage table. After numerous massages in Asia, this place had the face rest hole in a most comfortable fabric, position, and cover. I was able to tolerate being on my stomach for the first time in my life. The music was not spa music which can get boring. It was a variety of soothing classical pieces, including Pachabel’s Canon. Very pleasing. Had we had tea in ceramic cups instead of disposable papers cups, I would have given the spa a rating of 5.
Had a perfect massage here … my first choice was full … very please it was!! Drinks on arrival and departure … the place was very clean. Changed out of my clothes into cotton trousers and a top (never done this before for a Thai Massage). Very tranquil and my masseuse was very professional and kind. Highly recommend.
Had two of the best foot massages at this place with Tum (apologies if I spelt that incorrectly).Includes a lil foot wash to begin, then a foot and lower leg massage. Blanket to keep warm. And a cool tea at the end. Aircon is crispy cold – a real oasis on hot humid days.Pressure and technique was perfect. Couldn’t fault a thing. I felt like I was in a twilight zone I was so relaxed.If I was in Chiang Mai for longer, I’d have come back again! 100% recommend.
