Had a great experience with Ai as our food/tour guide. The options were delicious, the energy was happy, and the food culture was informative and interesting. Ai was very positive and engaging, she also was receptive to questions and small setbacks by the group.
Ai’s tour of the Bangkok street food scene was amazing! Beyond the food, she is very knowledgeable and passionate about Thai culture and local cuisine. We not only sampled delicious and highly-rated dishes, but learned about the people making the food, traditions behind recipes/cooking methods, and countless facts about Thailand.The tour itself was ~4 hours and guided in English (which Ai speaks very well). Ai has a great personality, sense of humor, and seemed genuinely interested in sharing a part of her community with us. She was very attentive (provided plenty of water, checked for allergies, spice tolerance, etc). Also, zipping around Bangkok in a tuk-tuk was also an enjoyable way to see different parts of the city. Beyond all of that, the food was incredible. Couldn’t recommend this tour more!
We really enjoyed this experience. Ai, the guide, was very sweet, knowledgeable, and engaging. We were also fortunate to have a good group in general. Everything went smoothly from meet up to conclusion. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We also got to experience local markets and ambience, which was great. We highly recommend this experience, and make sure you come hungry!
Ai blended a perfect mix of history, sightseeing, great food and at perfect times, air conditioning! The food was absolutely incredible and it’s clear how much time and energy Ai spends to make sure each food tour is perfect. She is extremely approachable and a very fun host for the day. The Tuk Tuk’s are a nice touch as they extend the geographic boundary so you’re not limited to where you can get on foot. Plus, it’s nice to zip around and see more to what Bangkok has to offer as you venture to the next food spot. You’re going to love this tour. Take it from me, who did multiple food tours on my trip. I visited this experience twice (1st time with my friend and 2nd time with my mom) and I can say for sure – this is the BEST food tour experience you can find in Bangkok! I have visited tens of food tour experiences in Thailand and SEA and I convince you – you need to book this one!This tour may have not many reviews because Ai (the tour guide) does this tour by herself. Most of popular (with lots of reviews) tours are organised by a companies with some random guides and mass-market quality. Believe me, this one is just another level, Ai is very passionate and talented tour guide, you will be happy visiting this tour! 🙂
