Sea Fun Divers is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 83100, Thailand
Hi all, a quick note to recommend (once again) Sea Fun Divers as the operator to dive with if you are in Phuket and stay around Karon/Kata/Patong area. Friendly staff, excellent logistic, great boat, yummy food. Overall a good service, you wont be disappointed. We dived Ratcha islands (on different spots) and the King Cruiser wreck. Visibility was good, nice marine life, not many divers (very pleasant…) no big fish (bit too early unfortunately….). Just go and enjoy! Big thank you to the staff (all or them).
I used Sea Fun Divers to acquire my Scuba diver license . And its quite apparent that the level of knowledge they have and the communication skills to spread this knowledge is superb. Professor Ron was so patient and forgiving (he must be chuckling inside at my novice performance lol). I highly recommend his expertise and and guidance if you are timid like me😂. I had a blast learning and looking forward to get an advanced certification in the future, Thanks Professor Ron😘He even took the time to fill inn absolutely all the knowledge gaps I had and really hammered inn good routines right away. Something I find very important for safety reasons, and staying comfortable at all times.Booking was easy and fast, and both email response times were very good. So I had no issues coordinating dives/training.The staff are relaxed and superb to be around. Just an overall good atmosphere at this place. And it comes highly recommended by both myself and my husband for anyone that wants to get their license, build upon it or just go diving!
Amazing! They really give personal attention and focus and are passionate about making it a great experience. Very qualified instructors. We went on a one day dive and my teenage kids dived for first time and the diving instructors gave 110% and were fantastic helping them have a great and safe experience. Other good aspects are they have their own great boat and care and driver (for pick up) and really nice location to try out diving for first time (large pool at nice resort with awesome snorkeling just off beach). I rarely write reviews but thought it was merited in this case.
Came with a group from USA with Destination-Dives! Best trip ever! Great diving and Sea Fun Divers made it possible. OwnerRenee took care of every detail, and Dive guide, Ron was an amazing diver and guide. Overall, I highly recommend this company!Janet Fair
Don’t be fooled by some of the other dive centres who offer cheap trips on absolutely overcrowded boatsSea Fun Divers are absolutely brilliant they have their own boat, equipment is excellent and the numbers diving are kept to a good levelThe team and boat crew look after all your needs, food and drinks also included as well as hotel pick up and drop offI’ve been on many dive boats around the world and the level of attention and just good people is a credit to themHIGHLY Recommend a you try them and use them only they are fantasticThanks for the experience team sea fun it was worth it all 👍👍👍👍🍺
We spent six dive days with Sea Fun Divers and had AWESOME outings. In 17 dives we went to all the locations they were offering during our visit. Our dive guide, Mr. Nu was above and beyond with everything, everyday!! I forgot my go pro (unbelievably) but the owner Rene`offered to let me borrow his. Mr. Nu also had a go pro and at the end of each dive day he let me upload the videos. (This Saved The Whole Phuket Dive Experience) And, when we done with our last dive day, Mr. Nu just game us the SIM card. Totally awesome pro all the way. Communications via WhatsApp with the Rene`and the company were perfect. Groups were small and the boat’s not overloaded as advertised. Meals were excellent. In the morning on the way out, there’s coffee, croissants, delicious muffins(ate them all), bananas, waters, cokes, sprites and fanta orange. After dive 1 or 2, lunch was served. I took some photos on the last dive outing, we had a real small group that day, but the lunches were as much as you could eat. Great Thai food. Also, after lunch, there was plenty of chocolate cake, banana breads, watermelon and pineapple. Yum I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your scuba diving with Sea Fun Divers🤿🤿
Chose this diving center for its good reviews. When choosing its important to note how many customers the center takes on the diving boat. Some providers fill the diving boat with customers making it crowded and difficult to enjoy the day. Sea Fun Divers has a good ratio of divers to instructors (this time 10 customers, 4 instructors) and the boat was clean, spacious and everything worked perfectly. It’s been around for years and has a good reputation. The equipment was in good condition, food and drinks on the boat were great, the crew was helpful and professional. The instructors were also great and ensured that customers had a good time. Diving itself was nice even though the visibility happened to be slightly limited under water. All in all, a great day and a highly recommended dive center!
We joined a dive trip with Sea Fun except that we snorkeled. Was really impressed with the boat — spacious and really comfortable for hanging out all day, especially compared to how crowded so many of the other boats were!! Professional guides, nice touches like offering tea and coffee and fruit in between dives. Rachel came with us as a snorkel guide, which was great having someone to ask about the different fish, corals, and other things that we saw in Bungalow Bay and not having to keep an eye out ourselves about getting run over by other boats or anything like that. Really enjoyed the day and will definitely look Sea Fun up again if we make it back to Phuket!
My friends and I acquired our PADI open water certification with SeaFun Divers in Nov. Weather was good and water was clear! I’ve got in touch with Rene who faciliated the administrative work. He is incredibly prompt in his responses, always ensuring that communication is clear and timely. Whether it’s a quick question or a more detailed inquiry, I can always count on him to provide thoughtful and accurate replies without delay. What stands out most, however, is his honesty and trustworthiness. Rene is someone you can rely on without hesitation. He even gave us complimentary T-shirts as souvenirs which we are very appreciative towards. We had the pleasure of learning to dive with Kevin and Dixi, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As a first-time diver, we were understandably nervous, but from the very beginning, Kevin and Dixi made us feel completely at ease. Their instructions were clear, concise, and easy to follow, which helped me quickly build confidence in the water.What really stood out was the constant reassurance and support they provided throughout the entire learning process. They were patient and attentive, always checking in to make sure I felt comfortable and understood each step before moving on. Their calm and professional demeanor created a relaxed atmosphere that made learning enjoyable and safe.Thanks to Kevin and Dixi, I felt confident and prepared to take on the challenges of diving. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially beginners, looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging instructor.
Incredible experience! We were 3 families of 6 adults and 5 children aged 5-9 (!!!) and these guys managed to get them snorkeling and the 4 divers diving and everyone had such a great time and they did it with such courtesy, thoughtfulness, consideration and professionalism. I hadn’t dived in years and was made to feel completely safe and reassured by Jurgoen our lovely Dive Guide for 2 days. Would not hesitate to recommend!
