Kata Shopping Centre is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Kata Beach, Thailand
Soi Opsion 2 is where you will find this little shop. We had shopped around for bags everywhere for Kata to Patong and found the range, quality and price to be great. The lady who owns the shop was lovely and not too pushy.
After spending $90 usd on a mani pedi from the spa at the Shore, right up the street, my new hubby and i tried this place out after dinner. I didnt really know what to expect, given that i refuse to try out unfamiliar mani pedis places at home, but i was very pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly, despite the fact that there were a few other patrons waiting. Our masseuses arrived promptly with fresh towels, asked us to place our belongings in a bin where we could see them, and commenced the services! We both got 1 hour thai massages, and they were WONDERFUL!!! One thing to be aware of, the ladies just started rubbing, and didnt ask if either of us had any back or neck problems or anything along those lines, so if you have concerns, its your responsibility to speak up for yourself, because no ones going to ask you. Two 1 hour thai massages were a grand total of 600 bhat, and the place was spotless (and i was looking) and everyone was beyond nice! I hope being on TA helps grow their business 🙂
Kata Shopping Center was close to our hotel – within walking distance, so we went there to just go and buy some essentials and also to look for some other good shopping options. It really is just as good as any other street market in Phuket, better go only if you’re looking for absolutely bare essentials and cheap Thai food and beer. Nothing special about this place.
Prices are more double than the open market for clothes and food over the street.Example: 450 instead of 200 thb for beach dress before the negotiations started… Just go across the street to the market…
It was amazing the beach was beautiful, clean and warm water. My husband and I loved it. We had 2 lobster meals for dinner under R500.
