We spent a couple of hours touring the klongs (canals) of Bangkok in a longtail boat and visiting an orchid farm. Tours can easily be booked riverside and do not require booking through a tour company. This is a great way to get a glimpse of the homes and lifestyle of many of the Thai locals, and time spent on the water gives some relief from the heat of the city. We traveled through a couple of locks, which was interesting, and saw vendors selling food and goods from their boats. The orchid farm was also very interesting, with hundreds of blooming plants suspended from rows of racks. Definitely worth a morning or an afternoon if visiting Bangkok.

Booked 2 tours and had an excellent service. Our tour guide Jane adapted the tours to our requirements and was very helpful.I would prefer an individual tour at any time instead of a group tour.
Because we wanted our children to understand something, we decided on a tour in German and had a fantastic day with our tour guide Nik! We did the ‘Maeklong Railway Market and Floating Market Tour’. Only afterwards did we realise that we would never have experienced and seen so many great things without our tour guide. He knew which train station to get on at, where to sit on the train, where to go through the big market… He kept bringing us tasty things to try and was also able to answer the children’s questions well. He was very knowledgeable. We knew that the ‘Damnoen Market’ was primarily intended for tourists. With a personal guide, however, you get to know a lot more about the background and history of the floating markets and also visit waterways from the market stalls. The mussel collectors were also a highlight. Many thanks to Nik for this great day and the professional organisation.
A quick appointment with a traditional tattoo master, no problem for Green Bangkok Tours. The studio is extremely hygienic, great work and English speaking. Two more days of tours booked with the Royal Palace, the most beautiful temples, swimming monkeys, floating market and much more. I could write a book about these magical moments. We spent a wonderful day with the guide Niki from Green Bangkok Tours. After a klong tour we visited the Royal Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, the flower market, the armulet market. We did a lot on foot, but also took a tuk-tuk. Niki gave us very good information and entertained us. Thank you very much
We booked an 8-hour day tour with a German-speaking guide. Nicki was very friendly and we explored Bangkok using public transport. He was particularly accommodating to our requests and had a few very good tips, for example for lunch. Our first time ever Bangkok, yes Thailand. We were done from arrival and jet lag. Jane blew away our fatigue and showed us the palace, Wat Arun and Chinatown. Then a detour to the Silberstraße and the skyline. We used all available means of transport and ate fantastically. Thanks to the valuable tips regarding taxi and TukTuk prices, we were prepared and were able to conduct professional price negotiations. Absolutely recommended for Bangkok newbies!
