Very excellent service. You can rent scooters in well condition (safe breaks etc) here with an optional scratch insurance or full insurance for 300 or 400 baht per day. For deposit you can bring a copy of your passport and 2000baht. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. If you thinking about renting a scooter in Koh tao – this should be your first choice. Safe and quality scooters!
We heard Koh Tao was famously filled with scooter-scammers trying to trick tourist for money by faking scratches and damages when returning the bikes. We took this rumour with us when renting and chose Koh Tao Scooters. Everything went well, we took the full coverage package for 450 THB a day. That includes all damages and even loss of bike I think.All and all a smooth experience but I think it’s too expensive for being scooter-rental. The no-cover package cost 250/day which also is little spicy for a scooter.
So far I have rented a few scooters here in Thailand, however I am always pretty cautious of where to get one from, due to the bad stories you hear sometimes.This place was recommended to me by a local and friend as being very honest and trustworthy. I can completely agree with that!The gentleman takes cash deposits (if you’re like me and don’t want to part with your passport) and he inspects the bike with you before you rent it, indicating all the scratches and marks on a paper copy. This filled me with reassurance that I wasn’t going to get scammed when bringing the bike back afterwards.All in all, a very good quality and good customer service! Would highly recommend.
we hired scooter for 3 days on 5/3/20after reading previous positive reviews.hiring was hassle free and no hard sell from lovely friendly gentleman.we were given insurance options, we chose no scratch insurance, we had plenty gasoline in tank for that day and we returned bike with prob half tank, we were told it was ok to bring back empty. If i returned to koh tao i would definitely hire scooter from this company
No fuzz service. Older type mopeds so an extra scratch or two matters little. No need to leave passport instead 2000 bart deposit. Perfect service except limited opening times 900-1500 but given the low patronage acceptable.

Great place to rent a scooter on Ko Tao! Extremely friendly staff, good prices and great scooters. We were even offered some flexibility on drop off dates as we didn’t know when we were leaving on the ferry.

One of the best parts was that they didn’t require us to leave our passports as insurance, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. They also offered scratch insurance, which was perfect for avoiding any unexpected costs. We ended up needing to extend our rental, and they were super helpful and accommodating with that too. Even drove us to the pier before our departure. Overall, great service, fair prices, and a fantastic experience – highly recommend!
