This is a difficult review to write. Not because there is anything wrong with Sea Canoe or Tom or his amazing crew – in fact, it is quite the opposite: I just don’t want Sea Canoe to become as big as some of the competition! The best part of a Sea Canoe tour are the limited numbers on board and the feeling that Tom and his crew aren’t only there to churn the maximum number of tourists through the spectacular limestone caves as they can. On a tour with Tom, you spend time learning as well as exploring, understanding as well as participating.This is my second tour with Tom and I hope to do many more before the big boats spewing out their tourists, and the noisy, dirty long tails churning through mud and mangrove take over forever and ruin it for all.
We spent a fantastic day with Tom and his crew . Very Nice – all passionated about their bay. Small group, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Fresh food and the most beautiful sunset to end the Day. Bref, nous recommandons fortement Sea Canoë et espérons revenir passer une nouvelle expérience avec eux…
Sea kayaking yesterday was awesome 👏 👏👏 10 hour day, 2 sessions is 3 hour padding & the most spectacular scenery I’ve ever seen. Once through the caves, almost on your back in the kayak in parts, filled with stalagmites & tites & bats, it opened up into timeless Jurassic world with monkey families & unseen bird calls, a treasure trove a lushness, vine like plants growing up sheer walls & 200 year old 30 ft tall mangrove trees. It was like opening up to Eden. A brilliant brilliant day with just 8 in our group & we even met Tom Cruise – our fantastic & very entertaining guide!Thank you we could recommend this forever!
We did the self paddle day trip. K. Noom was very helpful with booking and replied promptly to emails. Our guide, Tom, was knowledgeable about the area and provided lots of great info on the trip out. The other guides were nice also, but they were paddling for other people and we only interactedwith them on the boat. Our group was small and we were able to see many sites and caves without any crowds. We are a family of 4 with a 5 and 3 year old. The entire crew were wonderful with the kids. Lunch was delicious, especially the fish and soup, and there was plenty of water, coffee, soda, and fruit to keep us energized for the challenging paddle. Cannot recommend this company enough.
Fantastic tour today. Kayaked through 2 caves followed by delicious lunch. Then to James Bond island before a swim. Fantastic staff were friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t have done more to make our day terrific. Very safe (life jackets for all). Our 3 kids had a terrific time. We would definitely use this company again and can’t recommend them highly enough.
Me and my husband, on our honeymoon, booked Sea Canoe as they were the only company to offer self paddle during the trip! Tom was an amazing tour guide who really knew his stuff and made us laugh too! We were a very small group with only one other couple, so we were able to get a really personal experience. The food was really good, they fed us well! We were part of the sunset trip and got to have our own time enjoying the sea and kayak later in the trip. We are both hoping to return again and commit to an overnight trip with Sea Canoe. Thank you to all the team for making today amazing!!
I cannot recommend this tour and company highly enough! This was my second tour with Sea Canoe and each time has been amazing! I would recommend for anyone travelling to Phuket to add this to your itinerary. Not only are the islands and lagoons breathtaking (& you might get lucky and see some wildlife too), but everything is so well organized. The crew are fantastic: so helpful and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, islands and wildlife. And the lunch is amazing! This will always be top of my list of things to do in Phuket.
