  1. Just before the parking for the Tham Khao Lang Cave, there is a nice temple to your right. The temple itself is beautiful, although there a probably thousands of these in Thailand. On the backside of the temple you can visit a small cave, there is a small reservoir and you can walk uphill to some graves. A few monkeys hang around this temple, but they are not agressive.

  2. As you drive from the town to Khao Luang cave then this richly ornate Wat is on your right hand side. Although we were able to gain access to the grounds, we met only one other person (and saw no monks). We did not enter the temple as there were no doors open and it felt as if we were trespassing! We instead contented ourselves with a walk around the grounds which contain a large pool (filled with fish) and some bizarre ornaments (including a monkey on a full sized motorbike). There was one or two proverb type statements in English but otherwise all signage we saw was in the local language. We probably wouldn’t recommend a visit based on our experience, unless you are trying to see most of the Buddhist temples of Phetchaburi.
