Nam Roo National Park is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 50110, Thailand
I have been many times since I live in the Fang area. It is well known to locals and popular with kids. There is a large pool which is deep enopugh to swim comfortably and the far bank os only just visible and looks similar to a natural infinity pool… but you are halfway up a hillside! There is also a spring which feeds a crystal clear pool full of fish which then runs down to the main pool via a very shallow stream which is ideal for toddlers to go into since it is only a few inches deep and only up to a foot in depth at the deepest part. There are vendors who sell food and drinks from their permanent stalls and will also provide mats for sitting upon. Local hill-tribe people also often come and sell trinkets.Although there is a sign at the entrance with fees for people and vehicles there only seem to be any park officials and charges during big holiday periods such as Songkran, so most of the time entrance is free.
Local natural pool. Not bad actually, scenery was nice but not my thing as I found the place (including the water, changing places, toilet) is a bit dirty and lots of mosquitos. My husband and the kids did swim a bit. They quite enjoyed it.
