This is an overrated food court. There is no floating market but rather just a design. The food is not good and twice the price vs the food courts of other malls.
Located on the ground floor of the massive upscale Iconsiam, this place is a food market paradise with the ground floor packed with all kind of good food cuisine to the brim.We had a hard time trying to find a few food stores to try to avoid overfilling ourselves, but to no avail simply because the choices are endless!
Hugh variety of food to try, fun wandering around. Food prices were great and food very tasty. Well worth experiencing.
There are too many dining options to choose from. Every restaurant/stall was busy. All our meals were very good. Hard to not find a decent meal. Service was good and prices were reasonable.
A recreated street market that is done so well it feels authentic. It’s definitely a sensory overload, the colors, the aromas and the delicious food. It’s all wonderful n visually stunning. Loved it all n definitely a must visit
ProsClean and aesthetic overallMost payment can be done cashless via QRMix between local goods and food from different regionsAir ConditionedHALAL food available and the choice is decent – recommended for muslims
If you like to try out different foods of Bangkok, then this is a good place to go. You will find many different foods here. The prices might be higher than what you can find outside since this place is really a shopping mall and not authentic at all.
If you want to experience all the colors and tastes of Bangkok’s night markets without having to stroll through the sleazy, sweaty, noisy and smelly actual night markets – look no further. This giant market serves as a very modernized night market with all the features of the actual night markets (good food), minus all the negatives aspects of the markets. And it’s all air-conditioned.
Located within IconSiam Sook Siam is a themed area that is both fun and great to drop by. There are good food and souvenir collection for tourists. at competitive pricing! It was originally conceived as a place to present the cultural heritage of each of the 4 main geographic regions 77 provinces of Thailand, sharing the stories of their unique culture, traditions, arts, handicrafts etc. Within SookSiam there are over 3,000 stalls so we can imagine how massive and much time one would be engaged here! Still most tourists enjoyed including ourselves. We were here using the ferry service on a Sunday morning. Just for the F&B we try out Mango Sticky Rice which is a most popular Thai dessert, the one we got has 3 scoops of sticky rice each with different color but not difference in flavor. The mangoes slices are sweet! There’s also the Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers), tender, juicy, and rightly sweet. Besides the stalls the props are also well setup, there’s bridges & pavilions and a clear dining area.We saw that there are as much tourist as locals whom visited the place as us on a Sunday morning. While the food at SookSiam may not be the best versions of each type it’s still a good introduction to Thai street food for those who are less initiated. Not to be missed!
Great food and souvenir collection for tourists. The space simulates an outdoor Bangkok night market. Beautiful layout, mouthwatering food, and clean. I will come back.
