The Crystal SB has a good mix of retail outlets for clothing, electronics, kids; a gourmet supermarket; a multi-screen cinema, several banks, many eating options and huge section devoted to home furnishings. It opened at the end of 2014, yet in Jan 2015 there are still several units being finished.At the weekend it’s very busy, and personally I’d avoid it unless really necessary. During the daytime in the week there are more staff than customers.The biggest problem is parking. Firstly, the constant blowing of whistles by attendants wearing G4S vests, forget having a coffee or a relaxing beer outside since this noise will drive you insane. Secondly there just isn’t enough parking, unless you drive a brand new Mercedes – the G4S whistle blowing imbeciles will let you park on the sidewalk, disabled spaces, anywhere you like.
Crystal SB Ratchapruek has a very nice mix of shops and restaurants and there is enough competition that prices are kept reasonable. A good place to go for interior decorating needs. The biggest constraint is the lack of easy parking, although they have now opened an additional lot in the back but you have to walk quite far from there or ride their cart service from the parking area to the stores and shops.
